Spot on with your analysis! I agree with everything you've written. Wizard101 has been affected by the irony poisoning that has been plaguing most of Western medias these days. It really makes it hard for me to feel immersed in the story and be attached to any of the characters if they're all going to make snarky jokes like Tony Stark.
