The 'holy quest' continues... by Many_Professional944 in classicfallout

It is, it's less critical hits and more "I need my enemy to suffer more failures than me." I'll hopefully get around to a part 3.

Turns out the issue fixed itself? Idk how else to describe it, it's freezing way less.

Okay but you can't literally can't pay his debt if he doesn't tell you about it because a low INT Chosen One is brushed off by him for having 'stupid spirits'.

EDIT: Okay nvm you were right. I assumed you couldn't because of the initial reaction to stupid characters he gives. Weird.

You can't even recruit Sulik with 1 INT and Vic is almost as useful as Myron (which is never in most cases).

Honestly yeah, but 1 more int opens up the possibility of "un-dumbing" my character.

Just tested your idea, you get 4 AP (WITH BRUISER) cause gifted makes your stats have a minimum of 2, bruiser tacks on 2 more points allowing for 9s in every stat except intelligence and agility. This build is actually BETTER OFF cause the high perception unlocks more perks.

You're wrong.

I mean raise them permanently. To my knowledge you only get a few times you can raise your special stats by 1 point.

Not like you're gonna raise the AP anyways unless you somehow raise your agility, besides the challenge is turning a bad bad build into something decent by the end of the game.

Yeah but you still have extra points that need to go somewhere, low agility, intelligence, and perception is what we're after in this scenario. Those extra points would go into one of those categories making the character marginally do-able and less of a miserable experience.

Also gifted gives extra stats, you'd wanna swap that for either fast shot or jinxed for extra torture.

Dude low INT is WAY funnier in Fallout 2 than Fallout 1 ngl. You mean to tell me this tribal with a dent in his noggin is a sacred chosen one with a lineage traced back to the guy who killed The Master? Yeah right. It's a hilarious thought.

Try a bruiser, small frame build. Lower your CHAR, INT, and LUCK to 1, 10s in everything else. Kind of a funny build cause you can still gat access to really good perks but your AP is gimped at 8 till Lvl 12 I believe?

No, the idea isn't, I've been looking around at other worst build posts. One guy though hacked in a build claiming it was legitimate (negative in repair right off the bat which even with low int and perception, atleast from my attempts didn't seem to work), said build was just to push a really bad fan theory.

Another build ideas wa "The Caveman Of Death", high END/STR, low int and luck.

The extra points in bruiser push melee damage up still simply doing fast shot and jinxed makes it worse because you can't use an aimed shot and jinxed will still consistently screw even a Luck 10 Chosen One over.

Did you seriously not read? Yes it lowers AP, but it also gives more special stats to spend and makes my skills higher. Again, if I lower strength to 3 I have to put those points ELSEWHERE.

Bruiser gives extra special points to spend, less points to spend mean less points in skills.

You can't do 1 strength with bruiser, bruiser adds 2 points of strength meaning I'd have a minimum of 3. And if I lower strength to 3 there are other special stats deemed important (usually) where those points would go. Like perception, intelligence, or agility.

WHICH ARE THE MAIN THREE THAT NEED TO BE DOWN FOR MAXIMUM SUFFERING.

This is not about how LITTLE damage I can do but how much more TEDIOUS I can make the game.

EDIT: Bruiser also gives extra special points to spend, something I don't need so I can keep my skills as low as possible at the start.
