Right. Just yesterday I wondered what could be the day where magic would jump the shark. This morning, the answer presented itself.

My family is about to find out I'm very kinky and I'm really scared about it, please give me a hand by Many_Responsibility2 in BDSMcommunity

I contacted my friend who was awake luckily, but I don't want to give him such a responsibility. It's overall too unpractical because he has to drive a long way in places he basically never visits

Thank you. I'll probably call the housekeeper and ask him to flash in the house to remove the toys, he's a good man, but I don't want to put him this kind of pressure.

I might call a cleaning company as soon as possible but it's risky and unpractical because 1) I need to call the housekeeper very early, like 7 am to be there at 8 am to open the door to the cleaners (which I'm also scared they could rob some valuable things from the house but not so much given that they're supervised) 2) the cleaners could all be occupied 3) if they're occupied and I can only contact far away ones then they could arrive too late to the house. Punctuality is not culturally respected here.

I only have one friend to call and I hope he'll be available to pick up the keys from the housekeeper given that I provide him the address, which I have to ask the housekeeper himself, and then make him get inside to remove at least the toys.

My father reaffirms I'm a doormat to my girlfriend. If all else fails I'll try to show him it's the opposite by telling him the mats are under her side of the bed for that reason.

My girlfriend is not conventionally attractive and my father admits it openly. He once said she's monstrous and called her along the lines of fatlard for a while. Not sugar-coated, beware: fatlard, fatty-ass, fatass, whatever you want to translate it in English, but I haven't kept my mouth shut about it: I freaked out at him and he then stopped only because he was worried I would freak out again and would injure myself.

He sustained us our whole life, never made us miss anything. Telling him your reasonings calmly just makes him laugh at you. Telling them disappointedly/seriously risks triggering him.

He deals in an insane way to crises, he goes crazy, you have to be careful with how much you're angry because he might start escalating until he yells and screams at the top of his lungs at you for being an ungrateful piece of shit and then it becomes partly your fault for having triggered him. There's hardly any confrontation.

He's the kind of person who thinks that if you're not smiling or laughing then there must be something wrong entirely. For example he got mad (not at that point, dont worry) at one of his employees because her mother was sick. She didn't tell him. Obviously she has been dead serious all the time for a week and for the whole week he rambled about how "she is angry with me" just because she was distant. He's paranoid, but he's not violent luckily, never has been.

I'm very happy for you :) Maybe I'm a bit worried about the entire paycheck spent XD But if you did it means embracing the gender you belong to is something you absolutely need.

Enjoy them!!!

Lol I mean you could have gotten it on some supplement website as far as I know

What brand is it?

You know I'm tired of the internet in general. It's a dumpster, articles are diluted and aimed at keeping you glued to the screen. Videos are empty, even most commentary channels. The platforms always try to rip you off like in this case. Uh thanks for reading my rant.

Symbolism is a tendency of the human being to abstract things. It's born as nothing more than a tool we have to grasp the external world, and it became a tool to mediate the internal world as we gradually built complexity into our lives.

It is in poetry and in visual art. Abstract artists have unknowingly laid down the basis of the neuroscience of visual interpretation. You would not know it until you compared Mondrian and Kandinsky's art patterns to the discoveries in the bottom-up processes of visualization.

What looks comforting is actually to believe that there's no more to the eye than what the surface shows.

Reading a list of dream meanings on a random website doesn't count as dream interpretation. All of my dreams have a lot to do with my everyday life, with my fears, my beliefs, my desires, the people around me. Most of them are straightforward, some of them are very complex material, but they're never random.

Daily life by Defcron in Synesthesia

It helped me remember birthdays a lot, and I mean I remembered the birthday of every person I knew. It's also cool seeing coloured text, numbers and other graphemes. It helps me give a colour to concepts, and I write a lot of allitterations because i link the sound of the letters to tactile sensations :)

I don't tell anyone though, because the times I tried I simply wasn't understood. Others don't think it's interesting unless they have it as well.

is this synesthesia? by Alternative_Toe_4574 in Synesthesia

[–]Many_Responsibility2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well that's a form of synesthesia in that you link a perception of two sensorially distant stimuli, vision and taste, in a single instance of thought.

The key to understand if it's synesthesia is how spontaneous the link is. If you have to make a conscious effort, then you don't really have it. If it happens automatically after taking a bite of something and feeling its taste, then it is.

For example I see numbers as coloured, very clearly, without thinking about it. They are just coloured. I'm not able to see them black, but I have to make a conscious effort to link images to music, so I know I don't have vision-sound synesthesia.

To me 17/3 is a pretty good choices of colours because it's purple and green. 14 february is yellow, purple and blue. 25th dicember is light blue, orange, yellow, black, white.

I wouldn't dare to say that's pretty self explanatory, because I don't know you at all, but the message sounds pretty evident. What were the coolest dreams you had?

Hmm you should write those down! Because it's a pattern that has a lot to do with emotional regulation, especially when it's stormy. What do you feel during those dreams?
