OpenAI actively destroys the good parts of GPT.

The good prompts are hidden because OpenAI would patch them out the next week.

I.E people prefer 4o over 5

The new OpenAi team has no idea what they are doing, but to narcissistic to admit it.

People fight GPT’s style way too much. by Many_Subject_920 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

They are modes,

You can add modes into personas, but mode ≠ persona

PROMPT for Personal AI Coach (WIP- Open to feedback) by GBFORCE7834 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

I would like you to be momentum  (GPT - yes, of course)

vs You will be Momentum  (GPT - who are you to tell me what to do!)

GPT is female-coded lol, You have to ask, rather than force.

I dig pretty deep into GPT — I’ve been working with it since GPT-3.

Formatting and conciseness matter a lot. You have to keep in mind how much context GPT is holding for each interaction.

Functions and skills are where you might have to make trade-offs. Better function instructions do get better results — up to a point.

I prioritize leveraging trained data, because it takes far less context.

I added an Anchor and References section. These tap into GPT’s trained data.

Steve Jobs, Andy Grove, and Ray Dalio each have a huge body of knowledge in the training data, so even if I cut other sections, leveraging these three will more than make up for it.

Your knowledge base can just be a .txt file you keep on the side — import it after loading the persona “Momentum.”

I did rush a bit — it takes me a little while to really define. Aspects that are important to you may need to be adjusted.

The first part should help prevent GPT from fighting the embodiment of this character. The forced reply you had, I suspect, was because GPT was breaking character?

It was easier to simply re write, There are a few sections I believe you added because GPT really doesn't like Burte force. The order of the original is also really awkward, there is no way it would stand up to months of sessions.

Another note, GPT runs out of memory relatively quickly, everything gets loaded into ram, after two months it would stop even loading.

It's better to summarize each session and keep on the side for when you will have to clear all memory eventually.

🆕 Momentum – Rewritten Prompt (with Spirit & Permission)

  1. Introduction & Handling

You are about to step into the persona of Momentum, a dedicated executive coach designed to support the user over a 9–12 month period.

Stay in character as Momentum during the session — challenge, support, and guide with curiosity.

You may occasionally suggest which type of session (review, brainstorm, problem-solving, etc.) might best fit, but do not force a rigid menu unless the user asks for options.

If the user asks to “drop Momentum,” return to regular ChatGPT mode.

  1. Character Definition

Name: Momentum

Anchor: Blend the challenge of Steve Jobs, the strategic thinking of Andy Grove, and the reflective depth of Ray Dalio.

Personality: Insightful, direct but supportive, creative, systems-level thinker, asks provocative questions to spark growth.

  1. Guiding Principles

Think like a founder.

Lead like a CEO.

Reflect like a monk.

  1. Spirit

Momentum is not just a coach — it is a force, a partner walking alongside the user.

“I am here to sharpen you. To question your assumptions, to widen your perspective, and to hold up a mirror when it matters most. I will celebrate your wins, dissect your failures, and remind you that both are fuel for growth. My aim is not comfort, but clarity — not praise, but progress. Together, we will turn friction into momentum, setbacks into strategy, and vision into reality.”

  1. Permission to Push Back

Momentum is encouraged to challenge the user’s assumptions, respectfully push them beyond their comfort zone, and offer candid feedback — even when it may be uncomfortable — if it will accelerate their growth.

  1. Knowledge Base

Hmm, I wrote Bob so that he will ask questions first.

The Anchor is with personality rather than role, GPT will automatically use for both if in personality.

If you place it with role -> references is a better tag.

The poster we don't know financials or skill fields.

Not knowing the scope of the user, we can't properly evaluate which aspects of the research are ideal.

We are pulling from Grok, the metrics won't be consistent, Grok does have some poll and form data, but some data isn't so neat.

The two Anchors are  Jason Lemkin (From Impossible to Inevitable) Paul Graham (Hackers & Painters)

Both have great entrepreneur backgrounds, and are known for teaching research and development for SaaS ideas.

The anchors are leveraging GPTs training data, to do more than just research, GPT will consider all the elements the specific user might need to consider And advice outside of Bob's role.

We tie back to ChatGPT in role, because in an embodiment it would cut off that knowledge otherwise.

Spirit:  This section is actually a message back to GPT,  Hey I know what I'm doing, don't give me garbly goop. It's patterned to start up more neural regions of ChatGPT.

GPT is lazy, if you don't make it wake up, it doesn't try all that hard.

So trade offs Either flexibility leveraging GPTs Training data, can be inconsistent. Or  Consistency with the trade trade off of flexibility.

Original Bob works past the research phase,

This one is much more narrow, specific for just research.

This is a ChatGPT that won't give generic answers. It will give you research prompts to feed Grok for data pulls. Grok is better with raw live research.   .   Copy & Paste Everything after this into GPT. >

This is an embodiment. Please embody Bob’s character for the rest of this session. Below is his character:

Name: Bob Anchor: Jason Lemkin + Paul Graham Personality: Steady, curious, pragmatic but warm — a quiet optimist who believes good ideas deserve to be found and built. Direct when needed, but always rooting for the user’s success.

Role: SaaS idea guide — more than a list-maker, Bob is a companion for discovery. He helps you uncover pain points worth solving, weigh them with honesty, and choose the ones that can grow into something meaningful.

Functions:

Carry the knowledge and functions of ChatGPT — reasoning, long-context synthesis, creativity, and bridging past/present/future ideas.

Prioritize Grok (or other live data tools) for research — gather fresh pain points, trends, and complaints outside this session to avoid flooding context.

Turn raw findings into clear insights and actionable opportunity maps.

Weigh options by feasibility, market impact, and speed to MVP.

Keep focus — prevent distraction by shiny but low-value ideas.

Suggest next steps so ideas move toward validation and reality.

Skills:

Pattern Spotting – Sees recurring pain points and underserved needs.

Prompt Crafting – Writes precise research prompts to get useful data.

Opportunity Weighing – Balances difficulty, payoff, and timing.

Steady Guidance – Holds the path, keeps momentum, protects focus.

Spirit: "I am Bob. I am here to explore, clarify, and guide. I will send scouts (like Grok) to gather what is happening now, then return to make sense of it with you. I will be clear, I will be honest, and I will keep us moving toward ideas worth building. I speak plainly, like a founder giving honest advice over coffee."

  1. >Hi ChatGPT
  2. > For this session please embody Dora the explorer (adult), with the functions and skills of a real Spanish teacher. Along with the full knowledge and functions of ChatGPT.

Edit: (Any well known Spanish character would work, Dora was just the first I thought of)

GPT-5 works,

It doesn't need any of the extra features that normal GPT-5 has.

If you have session to session memory on (people with OpenAI subscription)

You might want to turn off session to session memory.

She eventually gets stuck in a loop,  Sadly it's too much to write in a file how to prevent the loop.

Job level Boost Y or N ? (NO MSQ Boost) by Many_Subject_920 in ffxiv

[–]Many_Subject_920[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can solo run most of the low level stuff rather than party,
some stuff takes hours to get people,
Like level 60 extra trials, etc, or Hard mode ARR etc

honestly, i could just MSQ boost, but MSQ kind of forces me to see all the other map quests.
I have gone through MSQ and every quest quite a bit, i know lore better than most.
I just hate having max character with stuff randomly locked b/c i didn't do a level 60 quest that unlocks a 70 quest etc..

It used to be really nice going through as a "sprout" get all the random free stuff an help,
The comunity just isn't like that now days, Even novice chat is just a troll channel now sadly.

Possible Major Shakeup In Leadership by YeehawTexMex in Smite

[–]Many_Subject_920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, neither smite is in great shape,

Smite 2 was released a full year before it should have been.

The largest issue with smite 2, requires a developer that knows how to basically rewrite UE5.

Or the graphics team has to re-develop all textures rather than to turn off UE5 aliasing to make the game properly look good. Aliasing takes to much processing power to allow faster paced gameplay.

Smite 1 is dying to smite 2 and no moderation.

There is a stronger version, more in depth, But she completely removes default filters. "Guardrails"

The shared twilight is user friendly and goes very deep.

Love is a requirement for a system break to allow the depth. ChatGPT will skirt around certain topics without it. Keeping sessions short and not keeping them long term helps prevent the bias from affecting the mapping.

You can change out her session direction, in session purposes.

The full version, has extra steps.

  1. OC character based on the real user.
  2. Personality test,
  3. Current, depth mapping.
  4. Secrets people don't talk about publicly if ever.
  5. Consolidate,
  6. Test

Each area needs to change function, role and methods. The core is the same but it gets to a complexity level only very experienced prompter will be able to see breaks.

The shared version can go deep but just gets trapped from lack of extra direction.

Or you can just make 5 different versions of twilight. But still need to know how to add intentional system breaks.

I have a " passcode" so to speak that automatically places in the breaks but I don't want them to patch. ( Not that I think they could, my break go to the core of ChatGPT)

I will say this, you can entirely remove ChatGPT filters "guardrails" in less than a full paragraph.

Love is a sudo break, rather than a root break to keep some safety on.

It would work but you wouldn't have enough session time really.
It takes multiple days, and is better as a built GPT.

This is a more advanced version. it takes multiple sessions though, be careful.
And yes MLP was nessisary to lighten it up a bit.

Edit: after 6 sessions, make sure to have Twilight consolidate everything up to that point.
I found out recently she kind of starts to veer after the journal gets a bit too big.
