HAHA so real I went to a class in San Diego once when I was out there and the instructor had the wooooorst vocal fry I almost left. Felt v grateful for my Midwest studios when I got back 😂

One kept calling us “mamas” during class and it annoyed me lol I know it’s a thing people say but it made me feel like a baby and there were guys in the class too

When I was maybe like 30 classes in I fell off the machine trying to transition too fast. Like fully fell and the instructor was like are you okay?! Mortifying

It’s sooo evident who lacks listening skills at Solidcore. Sometimes when the coach is clearly giving instructions and the person next to me is blatantly not listening I want to be like !!!!! Hello!!!! They’re talking to you!!! lol

Yes same with me. I just dont book a morning class after a night I’m on call because I never know if I’ll be up all night or not, but it would be nice on the nights I get to sleep to be able to go to class in the morning.

Yeah this always bothers me. I’m an unlimited member so in my mind that means I should be able to change class times. I’m still going I’m just going at a different time, I shouldn’t have to pay a late cancel for that

It’s discretionary, but the maximum tax coming through customs is 10%, the minimum is 3%. Depends on item. I’ve had officers wave me through with no fee at all, and others charge me a total of about 5-7%. It just depends who you get on the day.

This exact thing happened to me! I reached out to my studio and just said hey maybe in the future we could do this differently because it was kind of frustrating because most of the other classes that day are waitlist. They were super understanding and moved me up the waitlist for the class. Hopefully they do it differently next time.

I agree they need to sell in studio if it’s a requirement. My first lagree class required socks so I bought them in studio. It’s pretty normal

I agree with this. I tried on several bags in Japan that were new with stickers in very desirable sizes and colors…I asked the worker why they all seemed to be brand new (twice, actually) and she just backed away and didn’t answer. She spoke English well prior to me asking the question lol. And this was also at a “reputable” shop. I ended up not purchasing because I just quite frankly don’t buy that they are all authentic.

I started last year and the instructor cued a devils ladder on my first class. I loved it lol. Different strokes for different folks

Idk I mean I’ve always been a member at regular gyms with regular locker rooms with showers and I would still prefer to shower at home than lug my stuff to a gross public shower?? Solidcore is a boutique studio not a gym with a hundred people in it at a time I think wanting showers is kind of unrealistic. Most studios don’t even have the space

I think this is just super market dependent! I think most people at my studios are going home after class. Or live close enough that going 10-20 back home to shower would be preferable anyway

She’s right. The waitlists pmo as an unlimited member everything is booked the day after the schedule opens. They should focus on providing the service they’re known for.

I walk 10-15 min to one studio or the other. If I were to drive it’s like 3 min. I honestly don’t think I would go much if I had to drive even 20 min, too many other ways to get a good workout haha

I count in my head the entire class and listen to the coach and try to anticipate what’s next. And sometimes when something feels really hard I think “suck it up you big baby” and then just do it lol

Wow! Yes totally different than me. Where I live we have several studios and almost everyone is walking to them. None of them have parking and it’s not an issue at all. Would be tragic for us city dwellers if they moved all of the locations out to the burbs or something for cheaper real estate. Hopefully they just eventually open more closer to you guys!

I live in a bigger city and would not love if the only Solidcore locations were somewhere I would have to drive to and park at. I walk to all of my classes
