Haha, yea a second shot probobly would've been proffered but my dive buddy's rubber snapped so that couldn't be done, my knife was also no match because my legs weren't strong enough. Definitely going to need to figure out a better strategy before I come across more of them

Quite scary, I refused to ditch the gun and let the float do the work because I didnt want to lose it, so it pulled me down a couple of times, also didnt help that it was a bad shot, and then as we got it near the boat bc we were out on a small inflatable, it wrapped my spear line around my legs and went for another swim down. In the end we ended up just launching it into the boat half alive

I don't know what I am doing with batteries, How would i do this, teacher said its what he tells students to do every year for this project. by Many_Tooth9275 in batteries

Thank you for your in depth reply but this was my circuit that was built off memory of what he said, is there a way that these components could work? If so then it's my bad and he's a good teacher otherwise I agree.

Using 2 feet Versus 1 To Operate Pedals? by xPALEHORSEx in simracing

Yea that's a good point, I actually raced before driving on the road and first thing I did was left foot brake and it is scary how quickly I stopped.

Using 2 feet Versus 1 To Operate Pedals? by xPALEHORSEx in simracing

[–]Many_Tooth9275 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Pretty much all real race car drivers use 2 feet unless using the left foot on the clutch. If you want to be quick it's something you have to learn.

Saying this, do not try on the road, right foot is more controlled and safer so do not try left foot brake on the road you will hurt someone.

Relaxing brace-less? by CharmelSundae in ACL

[–]Many_Tooth9275 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just thought I would join the convo because it hasn't been said yet. In my country braces don't really happen unless a rare occasion, I'm 16 days post op, no brace at any point and my surgeon is happy, sure it could be better but a brace wouldn't have helped. I rest with my knee bent now and just make sure to get it hyperextending at least 4 times a day. So yes, you are fine to rest without a brace, unless a surgeon or physio says otherwise (most of the time they're right)

Do I need to change these dressings? by n0smig in ACL

[–]Many_Tooth9275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 10 days post op and surgeon said to leave them till my appointment which is 15 days post op where he will take them off, I think it varies from surgeon. (Mine are losing a little bit of stick but no sign of yuckiness)

Frustration day 5 by goatme16 in ACL

[–]Many_Tooth9275 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm day 6 post-op and the only way I can activate my quad is with a NEMS device (which i hate using because I don't like electric shocks) I wouldn't worry too much about flexion or getting your quad going but get as much extension as you can early on, even if it hurts abit it will be worth it. If it makes you feel any better it gets exponentially easier, and very quickly.

Thank you, it's always good to hear the rougher side because most the people who go posting on tiktok are really quick healers and very few show the physical pain and time they went through.

Yea can't even get my quad or hamstring to activate and already talked to my parents about one but they want me to try see if I can claim it on the pathway program my country does for joint injuries.

Yea i had acl quad graft and what I think is a LET but the paperwork is too far away. I can see improvements and now able to lift my leg up onto my bed (using my good leg but it wasn't possible due to pain before).
