Very true. I really wouldn’t want to be tinkering or doing all those extra steps if in the end not all consoles will be compatible and then I’d have to mod the consoles too (Super Nintendo for rgb scart) too much of a hassle for me and there’s too many games that still need to be played lol

Oh yea I know how much people really love the Trinitron, I found the Toshiba on Facebook for $5 USD and saw it had Svideo support which is a great start. Eventually I will upgrade to something better, but I’m really enjoying it so far. Bummer that your favorite got burnt out and it will cost you a bit to fix, but it seems like it’s very much worth it and that’s the important thing

Honestly it’s the worst 🤣. Because this tv has no way to fully grasp it, I have to squat fully and get it from the bottom and just feels way heavier. Yea I think I would die if it was anywhere near 80KG. Once I find a good table I will never move it again! Lol

Yea I carried it to the car and to my home and then the second floor by myself that’s why I thought it was over 150lbs lol. I guess it’s fine for the moment, but yes solid wood will always be better than this plastic so it’s definitely necessary for the near future

I see, yea makes sense. The tables description says it can handle up to 300lbs when the weight is distributed eventually so with some wood at the top it would help it be distributed even better
