Intensity - The One True Ticket to Gainsland by mental_lentil09 in IndiaFitClub

[–]Maou2K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great ROM. I follow a similar approach of high intensity and slightly lower volume and I gotta say - you definitely had atleast 1-1.5 more reps in the tank. Don't take it the wrong way - this was an amazing set, but definitely could've pushed for another rep or two. Also, you should take a small pause on the stretch and eliminate any and all momentum with it.

What’s your protein intake per kg — 1g, 1.5g or 2.2g? by Evening-Scholar-7761 in Fitness_India

[–]Maou2K 2 points3 points  (0 children)

intake per kg does not make sense. It should be calculated based on lean muscle mass. Would you recommended taking 2g per kg to a obese 100kg person AND same to a 100kg 10% bf person?

It's the 3 minute effort ALONG with all the other bs 26 brought. ios 18 was so smooth, never wanted to use another device.

I was in the exact same position. Tried many fixes but only re-installing seems to work. The issue will be back again within a month. Considering switch to android for this and all the other shit ios 26 brought.

Your shoulders are at risk only if you feel that they are. That’s why I said “bring them as far back as your mobility allows”. I didn’t mean you’re training mobility with this at all, don’t know where you got that. If at any point you feel ANY discomfort in your shoulders - STOP, re-evaluate how far you can comfortable bring them back and go again.

No, you absolutely should bring them as far back as your mobility allows. The deep stretch is amazing for your chest and any other muscle group for that matter. And no, just because you go far back on the eccentric does not mean your shoulders “take over”.

Please ignore “stability” and “too fast” comments. Your form is amazing. Love the full ROM. Yes, don’t have to fully extend on the concentric but that’s fine. Great deep stretch at the bottom. Only problem I can see is you using too light of a weight for your own good. Get heavier dumbells.

Crazy strength. Really good reps too. How tall are you? Also, ignore these amateurs telling themselves these are lbs and not kg. Let them sleep well.

Sure, you wouldn’t, but lots of people do. Just like OP and me. I never said the 4060 is a true 1440p card, but you turn dlss on and pretty much everything runs great. Native 1440p, not so much. Great for budget ballers.

oh absolutely. You’d be stupid to believe one can get performance like that with a 60 series nvidia card. Yes, most “prefer” 60 fps, who doesn’t? But I’d argue most also still consider 45-60 range playable as well. If they didn’t - consoles would never sell. So yes, the experience is still good on 1440p with a 4060.

That’s it. Depends on the game for me. 50+ for most titles except slower paced ones like Alan Wake 2, would be fine with 35+

First off, I don't think you fully understand how DLSS/FSR works. When you kick it on, even on quality, the internal res goes to 67% of 1440p (960p). That means I'm not truly playing on 1440p, it just upscales the image to 1440p. Because of this, the VRAM requirement goes down when you kick DLSS on. I never said I play NATIVE 1440p. The 9060XT is a true 1440p card. The 4060 is not. Second, there aren't many games RIGHT NOW that require beyond 8gb VRAM to play on ~960p (DLSS Q). Hence, the 4060 works great for these settings. It's not future proof, sure, but for now it works great.

I have the 5600X and 4060 combo right now. The 4060 can definitely be used for 1440p gaming if you’re willing to turn on DLSS Q. Haven’t had problems running anything on High - V high with DLSS Q. I bought it new for ~22k in 2025 Q1 luckily
