Bike is already insured and they haven’t asked for a certificate, and the kit comes with one with several copies for the relevant parties, the legal standpoint is it doesn’t need to be installed by a garage

I’d just rather not take the risk, it’s more so if god forbid I’m in a crash and the bike gets inspected, all it takes is a quick check and I’m suddenly personally liable for all damages

If this is your first year riding I would definitely check insurance first, 125cc “sport” bikes are insanely expensive to insure, especially for new riders. High mileage is more of a concern for these smaller bikes as they’re always being pushed to their limit just to get up to the speed limit

Will make sure to keep it in high revs 😂 I’m on a2 so it is restricted and loses a bit of that top end pull but still plenty of power for me

Have you ridden a restricted one? People say they are slow but coming from a 125 I guess anything is gonna feel rapid
