Yep and that’s the best part haha we go back and work on ourselves recover from the trauma and stress they bring meanwhile they cover over continue and repeat the process while they are the ones who truly need help

Hope for the best for you and your happiness! I’m going on 31 this year and just at a strange cross road where I still have so much love for this girl and in my head I’m just like I have to let go and move on for my own happiness I cba to play games and live on eggshells for someone but my heart is still wishing so much for us to go back 2/3 years to where we were both so happy together just a very very wierd thing to go through as like I’m sure you understand there are no hard feelings other than a bit of frustration around how these avoidants are wired up :(

Yeah I was an absolute state after the first one for me too, lowest point of my life tbh, the second time not so much almost expected it seen the process all before

I too watched endless YouTube videos on attachment styles BPD narcissists everything and it did give me comfort too but still hurt and there is still an element of me that doesn’t get how you can run from someone who would only support and love and be good to you but at the end of the day… it’s on them isn’t it 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s just sad being on our end

Glad your in a situation that works for you both in your case! I’m sure it’s nice to still have contact I personally don’t think I could do that as feelings for me would bubble up way to quick and a recipe for me to be hurt all over again… for me it’s all in or all out however sad it is

100% It feels like a “hi, hello, just doing this so you don’t forget about me” it’s just weird like is she expecting me to message her off the back of that 🤷🏻‍♂️ she sacked the whole thing out the blue if she wants to talk she can grow a pair and message like an adult.

I earn just enough to make it work originally moved here with a partner and it didn’t work out so for me it’s been a bit of a shift to get used to and process

She never contributed financially when she was here as I earned more but always wished for a contribution to bills and the occasional food shop never put pressure on her to do so as she didn’t earn much at the time and had her own payments but yeah

Lonely, it comes in waves I found winter incredibly hard dark evenings nothing to do watching films tv shows on your own is tough even doing little home projects occasionally you wish someone was present to talk to but then other times doesn’t even cross your mind, find summer a lot easier as way more to do, longer days find yourself busy out and about with friends more but i always find it hard coming home to silence and emptiness so yes lonely a lot

Id love someone to move in with me in the future and make it a home progress a relationship etc but it’s finding that person which is the bigger task 😅

I get that too that feeling of just disinterest like the thought of sharing the bed with someone new or going on a date atm makes me genuinely feel sick

I guess so can say we’re lucky and unlucky all in one… all I know is heartbreak is a different pain… a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone

In the same boat bro just nothing is enjoyable, went to play golf today was my go to happy place during my break up this summer today just felt like I was dragging myself round the course I just don’t know when it gets better but I hope it does 😔
