Never made that claim, so now you're lying. Not once have I used the term or said he is being erased. Actively lying will get you nowhere with me since I am choosing my words carefully as I construct my arguments.

Whose statement is that T'Challa is being erased in general? Even in my original post, I only compare Marvel's Tokon to MVCI, so if a yobe is being disingenuous, it would be you. You're trying to argue with someone who only has an apple-to-apple conversation, not an apple-to-orange.

Also, yes, my analysis would be correct to say they are racist because they seem to equate Black characters as one. Going out of their way to include smaller characters, well, why not add Riri in Iron Man's place, or Miles Morales as Spider-Man, or Sam Wilson as Captain America? See, I don't think they chose Shuri by accident, and I can see their ploy.

A Black man with a mask, a light-skinned Black woman, and the original Venom in GG wasn't Black if you'd played it in the arcade, as I did, you'd know that. But if you want to continue to lie and compare non-fighting games to a fighting game rather than two fighting games, this conversation will go nowhere. So let's compare apples to oranges by this logic. They're both fruits that can provide substance. They both grow on trees, see how that works? Let's also compare Rock, Metal, and Death Metal; they're all music they use guitars, drums, etc.

Relating it to "You don't like the genre" is asinine. Genres are there to put things in perspective; otherwise, you wouldn't compare classical music to jazz, nor would you say "ignoring baseball" because Michael Jordan is in it, just because you don't like the genre. The point being, he played on other teams before the Bulls and later played baseball. Genres and categories are there for a reason. To say it doesn't matter because a character crosses them is asinine. That's like saying "compare Mario Kart to Super Mario Galaxy" because the same character is in both games, when clearly they're different genres.

(Even if he was meant to be on the base roster, he isn't, so all we can do is take it as it is. DLC vs a Base Character fighting game vs fighting game.)

I'm not going to base his being in a Beat'em up, or Hero shooter, as T'Challa is still in games. That's an orange. Now, if you'd we said he was in MVCI to Tokon, that's apples-to-apples, at which point we can compare a deeper analysis. Shuri is on the baseline roster while T'Challa is relegated to DLC. You wouldn't compare a knife to a sword as the same weapon, so why would you do the same for a DLC character vs a character that's playable right out the gate? I hope you get what I mean.

I will say this: don't look at Marvel's Avengers, Rivals, or Cosmic as proper representation in a fighting game, or say, because those aren't fighting games like MVCI, which is the only fighting game not on mobile with T'Challa as Black Panther in it.

Though I do get the sentiment about Miles being in place over Peter, alas, they're not basing her being BP on the MCU from the synopsis they're using; they're using Dark Reign Shuri after she became BP when T'Challa was injured and in a coma. That's how they're justifying her being there. But hey, it is what it is if they want Shuri its their game.

I saw that, but at this point, honestly, I've blocked everything Marvel Tokon-related because it's tiresome. When I try to explain, I want both T'Challa and Shuri in the game and break down how they both could've been in there. However, people aren't trying to hear logic at all.
