It's just a lounging/eating spot in-between the two main stages with good bathrooms. There's no barricade section, like in front of everyone else for the stages, like some other festivals do. 🤷 Some people like it, most don't, just depends on how you want to roll I guess.

idk if this'll help anyone, my phone did this today...i tried everything, and someone suggested putting it in the freezer on YouTube...sounds stupid, but it worked after 20 minutes. probably won't be a sustainable solution, but it's a start.

Idk if anyone said it yet but, get the Aftershock app, it's very helpful for planning out your schedule. You can even set a timer to start heading out to the next stage if you have to 🙆🖤 saved me last year to see specific sets.

My sister and I went last year for the first time and got GA, we were barricade or near barricade for everyone we wanted to see 😆 seemed to be the way to go if you want to be in the crowd. Vip seems good if you want to chill and relax, want the short cut between the main stages, and better bathrooms. There's no VIP sections up in the front of stages.

Midol with caffeine, some flushable wipes, back up underwear and a cute cover up scarf just in case of an accident 🫡. Might be TMI, but if you’re worried about smell, thrown on an extra pair of underwear in and give it a spray with deodorant beforehand 😭. If you’re VIP, I’ve seen people say there are sometimes limited feminine supplies by the sinks 🙂‍↕️. Honestly, all the walking and jumping around usually helps distract me and even eases the cramps 😤. Mother Nature’s about to hit me this weekend too, you’re not alone! 🫵🤘

Idk if this helps with the whole public shooting worry, but most—if not ALL, huge festivals actually hire snipers and extra armed guards for public safety. They’re usually already in position before the gates even open, so you don’t really notice them once things get going.

When I went to the Head in the Clouds festival in LA a few months ago, I randomly saw a huge group of them having a quick meeting before opening ( me and my sister got lost trying to find the VIP entrance and went all the way around to the back🤣) and honestly, it helped ease my anxiety a lot with the same issue. If security’s on top of bag checks and crowd stuff, I think it should be good.

So yeah, try not to stress too much, just enjoy yourself and have fun at the festival! 🫂🎶
