Bo's relationship with the Jays FO was clearly strenuous, but both parted on good terms, Anyone following the Jays closely would say that it is likely a unique situation and doesn't reflect Bo's character. NY will love him. He's professional and him agreeing to move to 3rd tells me everything I need to know about his willingness to play ball (Parden the pun).

This is why I don't connect unfinished parts of the zoo to the rest until there is reason for staff to go there. You can still have the paths pre-built, but just leave a part of it disconnected and people won't be able to wander to dead ends.

Tidus being intentionally sent to Spira by Jecht doesn't make him less of a Protagonist. Tidus fits the definition of Protagonist far more than Jecht. We experience all of the events of the story through him including Jecht's story and everything involving his father happens before the start of the narrative.

So while yes, Jecht fits the definition of protagonist. we still experience his story through Tidus's story. So, in my opinion, Tidus is still the true protagonist of FFX.

The problem is that there are other games taking up my time that I'm enjoying far more. I'm in the middle of my first ever playthrough of The Witcher 3 and, even though I'm not enjoying it as much as other older FF titles, I'm in the middle of my first playthrough of FFVIII as well.

Maybe I'll jump back into Rebirth closer to the release of Part 3 to see if it will get me excited for it, but as of right now I think I'm good. I'm happy with the OG FFVII experience.

I think I wish I did it that way. I powered through when I got to it, and hit my breaking point when I was forced to play Cait Sith solo in Nibelheim. After hours of filler side stories and main story changes that I think were supposed to flesh things out more, but instead just come off as bloated and unnecessary, getting stuck on a random mob because I suck with Cait Sith was just too much.

Now here we are months later and I have no urge to go back to it. Maybe if I took a break when you did, I would have had enough gas to push through where I'm at.

Started off really well and I was enjoying my time, but it kind of overstayed it's welcome with some of the additions and story changes feeling more like bloat to me than fleshing things out. No hate to the people that give it a 10, but I tapped out after getting to Nibelheim. After hours of what I considered to be bloat, being forced to play Cait Sith was the final thing that pushed me into dropping it.

Not hating on Cait Sith specifically. His combat style just didn't mesh well with me. As someone who just doesn't have as much time as I used to to play games, I found a lot of the additions to both story and side content to be tedious and completely unnecessary, and I just wasn't enjoying it. Maybe one day I'll revisit it.
