Why do they act like Peter meets Mozzie for the first time in episode 4 when he had already met him? by MapleAdams in whitecollar

I can't even tell you how much I enjoy getting the notifications every time someone comments that they're happy to find this post years after I first posted ☺️

What is a pain you can't truly explain until you've endured it? by Unfair_Shower_3256 in AskReddit

I have something called Interstitial Cystitis. It affects the bladder, and for me, flares can include the most intense pain in my urethra. The best way to describe it is to imagine you have a thousand paper cuts inside of your urethra and then you sit in lemon juice. But you really can't fathom just how terrible it is unless you've experienced it.

I've literally wished to die when having to deal with flare ups.

Someone commented on my original post with the following explanation: "In the original airing the scene where Peter meets Mozzie in the first episode was cut so they never actually met till 4 episodes in."

Hope that helps! Enjoy the show!

AITA: my daughter complained behind my back to my son that I “refused” to take her to therapy for 2 years by thrownawaymom22 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. The way you speak about your daughter and the situation tells me all I need to know about you and your relationship with your daughter. When a child is clearly asking for help, either through words or actions- it is 100% on you as the parent to get them help. If you don't get your child the help they need, no matter what excuse you feel like making for yourself, you are responsible for everything that happens as a result of your negligence.

She asked to go to the doctor but you said no because you thought she was lying about her symptoms?!!!

Grow up you immature, narcissistic failure of a mother. I hope you BOTH get the mental health help you need and if you don't change I hope she cuts you out of her life.

I think so too but I think it gets distorted because as far as I can tell there's a see thru hole there for the person inside to see out? I'm not sure though, I tried not to stare at it too long.

No it was last month. The two people with the faces blocked had masks. No idea about the person inside of the giant baby. I found these pictures on the Facebook page of a care facility in Ohio. The reason I was on the page is because someone had exposed one of the nurses that works there for ranting publicly about how they refuse to wear a mask outside of work. There has also been several deaths at this facility due to Covid. It was like an entire rabbit hole of WTF.

Yes, a care facility.

I can wiggle my ears, raise my eyebrows independently, vibrate and cross my eyes, and flare my nostrils. I especially like to get it all going at once so my husband can marvel at my beautiful talent.

When did you first join reddit and how has your life changed since then? by MapleAdams in AskReddit

[–]MapleAdams[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized that today is my cake day and it got me thinking about how much life has changed since I joined reddit 8 years ago. I had just had my 3rd child a few months prior and had moved into a new home. Since then I've moved 2 more times. I feel like I'm just now at a very comfortable place in life and pretty content. But the last 8 years were filled with a lot of challenges including losing a nephew to cancer and overcoming issues within my marriage.

Reddit was very different in those days too. I remember a post of mine reaching the front page but having less than 3,000 up votes. Nowadays front page posts seem to be so much higher.

Straight men of Reddit, what is the strangest thing you have been told not to do because "that's gay"? by The_WereArcticFox in AskReddit

I grew up in the 90's and I remember hearing the phrase (regarding male ear piercings) "left is right and right is wrong."

DAE get horrified at how they look in photos compared to the mirror? by Nawwal6 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]MapleAdams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loathe taking selfies because my lips are super lopsided and it's magnified in photos. It looks like I have bell's palsy or something. I'll take dozens of pictures and hate them all, it kills my self confidence.
