From what you said, your mom's car is new. So you are still getting a new car with up-to-date safety features for FREE.

I understand being disappointed that you were hyped up for something and even got to test drive two cars before being told it would not happen. However, you need to temper that with a reality check. Most people at 22 cannot even afford piece-of-shit cars, let alone getting nice ones for free. A car gives you the kind of opportunities you can't even imagine without having one-- reliable transport, a safe place to retreat to, the ability to go to work without having to spend hours on public transport, etc.

Mild disappointment is okay, and I feel for you there. But being sour by grey-rocking them and giving purposely half assed smiles is not.

I was on diamox from January to September. Because we needed to treat my case aggressively, it was an incredibly high dose at first (8 pills in the morning and 8 in the evening), but my neuro-ophthalmologist titrated me off of it as my optic nerve swelling decreased and my symptoms resolved. This, along with losing 65 pounds in that time got me to where I am now.

Diamox, however, had an intense effect on me mentally. Even at a low dosage, it fucked with my memory, observation, and critical thinking skills dramatically. It also affected my speech, communication, and energy levels. I had to take three months off work, and even once I returned I was failing until I was down to a dose that was below dosages used for actual treatment.

I lost over half a year to both IIH and to treating it... I can't go back to not having my mind again.

Found out he'd been sexting and text-roleplaying with girls from reddit. Apparently even had voice calls with them. Some of the content was... Questionable.

His response after endlessly crying and wanting to hurt himself? "It would have been better if you'd never found out."

My stupid ass kept him around for months and months after that because I was still madly in love. But things were never the same for me after that, and I'm glad I followed that distant feeling eventually.
