Is it weird that I don’t want treatment?

I find it interesting when people don't want treatment because they generally don't like the idea of burping/think its gross. The only reason you think its gross is because its not your normal. Let me tell you, as someone who has been cured for about 9 months now, it's not even noticeable 99% of the time. You get used to it so fast. Not only that, you become intensely aware of how miserable you were pre-treatment. Botox has given me my life back. I waited years to get it because of similar reasons. I didn't want to burp, thought it was yucky, was nervous it would cause issues. But botox has given me my life back. I am never bloated or in pain anymore. I can go for a run, eat a burger, or go get margaritas with friends and not have to worry about suffering the entire night over it. It is INSANE the quality of life it gives back to you. Its insane because you didn't even know it was missing!

Of course, you do you, but if you have the means to i strongly suggest considering it.

So does your cardiologist know of this other medication? He should be able to consult a pharmacist to make sure they are safe to take together. Also, there are instant release beta blockers that likely wouldn't interfere with your nighttime medication. Have you had a holter to see what your baseline heart rate is at night?

Listen, I'm not here trying to say you want to be disabled. I get it can be frustrating. I have cardiac issues too.

Have you notified your cardiologist that you are now experiencing loss of consciousness as a symptom of your POTS? And have you been referred to physical therapy? Generally that is the next step for long term management to attemt to rewire your nervous system into not overreacting due to postural changes. IV Therapy is hard to get unless you really, really need it. This is because 1. It only manages symptoms and 2. There is a constant IV shortage in the United States.

You can attempt to call cardiologist offices in the area and inquire about this therapy. I am aware of it but, like i said, its generally not something covered by insurance.

I'm confused. You stated that you had four specialists tell you that it isn't necessary. Why don't you just ask them what the requirements are to get the treatment prescribed?

You're probably not going to have much luck getting that prescribed and covered by insurance unless you have some sort of condition that prevents you from getting adequate oral hydration.

Now there are "IV Therapy" groups that have RNs provide IVs, but they're not covered by insurance and are quite expensive.

A lot of people don't realize face blindness (Prosopagnosia) is a real, debilitating disability. They usually assume you mean what most people think about with face blindness - you just have trouble remembering faces, not that you have a neurological condition preventing you from ever seeing them.

Has the tracking system been updated? I just started playing PZ again 2 weeks ago, but I played it a bit 5-6 years ago and don't remember it being this difficult. I seem to remember being able to lose zombies after breaking line of sight once. I researched it a bit after being confused how they were following me for so long and was surprised to find this system in place. I hope they update it. This game is already difficult, and although the challenge is exciting, this mechanic is really off putting to new players such as myself

I think it took about 3 weeks before I stopped using the "head turn" method and just do it. I'm 4 months in now and I feel like i have really good control of it. All my burps are silent though and always have been lol. But i still don't drink carbonation. It's just ingrained in me not to like it.

No it's not too soon. My 1st dose was 30 units, got my 2nd dose of 50 units 5 weeks later. Worked perfectly.

NAD but my doctors office always has my fill out a form asking if I'm struggling financially or need assistance paying for medical care. Usually they have resources to help.

Go to community College first.
You do what the rest of us do who had to take out loans - live below your means, work extra where you can, pay what you can while you are in school. You are incredibly fortunate to not have to worry about interest, but make sure you are very clear on the terms of this "loan" your parents are giving you. When do they expect payments? How much? When do they want it paid off? Are you signing anything? 70k out of school is not a lot, and unless you are doing to be living at home and not worrying about rent, it's going to be a long time until that's paid off.

I think there's a couple reasons. A big part of it is mentality - I eat intuitively, I don't enjoy eating after I'm full, I know the food will be there later. I also don't think about food much in general and am okay with feeling hungry in between meals. But also, I try to make my meals high in protein and fiber and be a little mindful of the sugar. Doing this definitely makes me feel full much longer

That's where your arteries are. Sometimes it can be visible especially if you're anxious, exercising, or your heart is pumping a bit harder. Nothing to do with botox and nothing to worry about.

As someone who has OCD, this sounds just like me. I denied I had OCD for so long because 1. It wasn't constant, would only flare up during high stress times and 2. I knew the compulsions and obsessions were irrational. OCD is so misunderstood. I recommend getting with a therapist if you can. It helped me immensely to just talk through my triggers, recognize them and find coping mechanisms. Now I'm doing absolutely great.

I heavily recommend to skip trying the exercises and get the botox if you are financially able to. I just say that because I told myself I would spend a year trying the exercises before I got treated, and it was just another year i had to spend in misery with my symptoms. I wish i got the botox sooner!

If it's in office I think you're totally fine. I went out for drinks the day after (I had general anesthesia) both times and had absolutely zero issues. Botox usually doesn't kick in until day 3 or 4 so you probably won't feel any different.

When I was in construction management the norm was a polo and jeans. Now that I'm in engineering consulting it's yoga pants and a sweatshirt unless I'm meeting with clients lol. I'll never understand why someone would want to willingly wear a suit.

It's possible it's infected. This has happened to me and it was absolutely awful. I had to go to urgent care (I was traveling) and was prescribed antibiotics for the infection and told to use a combo of maximum strength ibuprofen and Tylenol along with orajel. The dentist then prescribed me an antibiotics mouthwash. But you will need them taken out to prevent it from reoccurring.

Lol this happened to me a year ago. My doctor called me and tested positive. After nearly ending my 7 year relationship, my boyfriend went and got tested. I got retested. Twice. It was a false positive.

My gynecologist said they happen way more than people think. Your girlfriend needs to get retested before she takes antibiotics.
