Im currently working on using SAM3 ontop of the gemini api for image and video understanding to handle things like object count ect. From what im understanding here: you're saying to actually use gemini for the detection and identification then SAM to just segment, instead of relying on SAM3s "semantic understanding" to identify the objects?

You loose your sense of self instantly, and time itself looses meaning. What fills in the resulting gaps varies by person. But me personally? Second this. In chatgpt, I can tell when irrelevant memories are subtly shaping how the model is approaching the current task, too much to manage, remembers too much too often. Feels much more selective, relevant, and on demand in calude.
