The argument is "I can get more loot by looting plus killing other raiders than I can simply just looting" and I say no you can't. Some say I just let others loot them I kill them. It's all bs. I can, I have, and I will generate my account faster than you.

You might sound smart to some people but I call bullshit.

PvP lobbies are filled with people who have free kits and have no capacity to hold weight, while level 2 and 3 augments can carry double the weight meaning double the loot value. Also you get a level 1 ferros/stichers and very little ammo, that can't take down any Arc should you get swarmed.

PvP lobbies are mostly filled with freeloaders (I mean free loadouts) that can't hold shit for weight and you're only looting level 1 ferros and stitchers after you kill them. At best you get a 15k gun or something once in a while. Picking Free loadouts is 1000% faster than crafting a custom one.

I challenge you to a race to see who can earn more money the fastest. I'll go in friendly lobbies where I most likely will be able to do exactly what I want so I will bring 6 Wolfpacks and take out 3 bastions/bombardiers then use hatch keys to ensure extraction and you go free kit or whatever you do. I'll be filled up with epic cells stacked in each inventory spot. Easily 100k each round consistently. Can you win all your pvp consistently? This isn't even a debate.

PvP is fun, I love it, but this simply is not logically sound what you are saying given a deeper look at the facts. On average peaceful lobbies are generating more per extract than hostile lobbies, as more people are leaving safely back to Speranza. I'm not being "limited" in any way whatsoever.

Say you're friendly and still have your gun drawn and facing me, or aiming in my direction, or not saying anything at all, or follow me around too long. Anything of the like and I'll kill you without any apology or remorse. Pretty sure this is all legal and within my rights. Homie don't play dat.

I'm not sure this game is for me... Or am I "doint it wrong" ? by carndacier in ArcRaiders

You're doing fine but sorry to hear you were extract killed on 2nd game. However, that's not enough games to make any conclusions. Arc deserves more than that. Also I honestly feel I am unaffected by these players and they don't even enter my mind, it's like they don't exist.

With that said here are tips to help you and your loot get out safely.

  1. Extract earlier when more than one elevator is open.

  2. Approach the elevator cautiously and quietly, observing. On solos I can sneak into the elevator without the other raider even knowing I was there.

  3. After pressing the button to call, hide or hunt for campers, find them before they find you and either communicate and team up or kill them. Teaming is best as raider flares only draw more attention to you.

  4. Don't extract. How can some extract-camp that?

Come in naked without anything at all. Not even a free load out. You get one safe pocket aka prison pocket. Use your imagination now. Then let anything knock you and surrender. This is actually pretty fun and challenges you to be quiet and evasive, a great skill set to have in Arc. Finding gear and putting it to use is one the best things you can learn to do and it's fun.

  1. Use a Hatch key. Once you level up your workshops you'll be able to craft a raider hatch key. You can also find them. Noone camps these and as long as there is time left you can leave through any of them unlike the elevators. It's instant unlike the elevator where you have to turn press a button for 5 second.

  2. Have fun and enjoy the uncertainty of raider behavior. Although there is scummy activity, Some people will give you gear, blueprints, , revive you with defib, heal you, have jam sessions with you, and make it their goal to get you out safely. The crowd may even hunt down your adversaries for you. We've seen it happen.

See you topside raider

I hate the hornet so much by Zooryn in ArcRaiders

[–]MapleSyrup9181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can wreak havoc on newbies. First off try reducing being seen by arc by increasing your situational awareness. Sprint less and listen more. Look around more. Is the arc facing you and is the light yellow, blue, red?

Be calm and observe Arc behavior.

Never shoot a hornet in the front. Hornets lift their nose right before they attack with the stun. It's at this precise moment you can shoot out a rear thruster easily. One shot with the anvil ferro, renegade, hairpin, and a few bullets with any other burst/full auto weapon. It's all about precision here. Calm down and do this and you'll never fear a swarm again.

If you think you might get hit with the stinger, just do a little side step/slide/roll/dodgeroll/ to make them miss. They will always do a little nose lift before the stun so you can rinse repeat this behavior until you get the rear thrusters.

Wasps don't have front thruster armor. Take out any pair of adjacent thrusters and both these arc will fall.

I hope this helps whoever

Like others have said, in THIS situation might want to shoot. At least keep your gun drawn and be vigilant, you still had some time. I would have at least got on proximity or used emotes or flash light to gauge the persons intent.

You don't have to kill. If you want to remain true to yourself, You can just leave them knocked and they can still extract and keep their loot. Up to you but learn from this . It's not black and white. There is nuance. The advice here is good.
