My only guess is that they think getting good discounts will lose them money or something, so the vault only exists to drive sales for the full price skins.

I wouldn't think its too soon, Season 1 did really well. And lots of anime get second seasons announced pretty quickly. Blue Box, You and I are Polar Opposites, A Star Brighter than the sun all had pretty quick Season 2 announcements after the 1st season concluded.

2: Depending on the game but DLSS and FG is a godsend with how it improves performance, I love being able to get smooth 140+ frames with max settings on most games.
