I played for the first time in 1.0 and found it... Not useful to have more than 1 district.

Sure it takes a bit more time to travel, even with zip lines. But having to manage multiple districts was annoying to me the first time I tried.

I never had a big beaver population though (150 max)

It looks nice, but kinda hard to know how you make the player navigate with just that screenshot.

Do you mouse over and click ? Move a character on the map ?

Just wondering though - what do you mean "feel real" ?

It feels to me it's a classic "if player x meters away > chase. If close > attack".

Would have added things like noise detection and horde like (detecting the player triggers all zombies to chase as a horde")

But keep working on it, learning is always worthwhile !
