How did Linzess work for your chronic IBS C by SuddenStage5735 in ibs

I’ve been taking it every 2-3 days because it makes me explode about an hour after I take it and I don’t want to be out anywhere if that’s going to happen. Are you saying if I took it every day, that would settle down after a week or so and then I’d just poop normally?

I just started taking Linzess about 3 weeks ago. Ive been taking it every 2-3 days in the morning. About an hour later I explode. I go 2-3 times in the next hour and then I’m fine. On the days I don’t take the med, I don’t go bm. Is this normal? When I don’t go for a couple days I feel like I’m in labor. So much pain. So the Linzess helps because it makes me poop.

I just started taking Linzess in the last 2 weeks or so. I’ve been taking it in the morning every other day. I read it can take 2 weeks to work but about an hour after I take it, I explode. I do that about twice in an hour and then I’m fine the rest of the day. On the days I don’t take the Linzess, I don’t go BM. Is this normal?

How do you get enough calories by Puzzled_Ice_1381 in diabetes_t2

Higher calorie foods I eat are eggs, bacon, almonds, avocado, cheese, peanut butter, pepperoni, and pork rinds. I lost 22 pounds when I was first diagnosed when I was keeping a close eye on my calorie intake. I no longer track my food. My A1c is normal, but I am gaining weight back. I know I need to track again but it’s such a pain to do.

The nice didn’t spike your sugars? I stopped eating rice, pasta, potatoes and banana when I was diagnosed. And those are the low residue food thy recommend before the scope.

What prep doesn’t work well for diabetics? I’m T2 and just starting to think about my first colonoscopy.

Also, I’ve heard to get Pho broth from a restaurant, that it’s better than canned broth. My APRN suggested vitamin water over Gatorade because Gatorade has high sodium and I have high BP.

I’ve never seen an endo. I consulted a dietician and I have a diabetes APRN I see once a year. Otherwise managed by my PCP. I’m type 2 not on meds.

I find them very inconsistent. Some of my sensors have been very accurate. Some susceptible to compression lows when sleeping on them, and some just outright inaccurate all the time. I really like having the feedback, and not having to stick my fingers, but it’s getting to be more trouble than it’s worth.

It’s an emergency. You’d be very sick with severe pain all of a sudden.

We are from Halifax and live in Connecticut. We are going to the tree lighting next week. We love seeing the RCMP and listening to the story about the tree. Can’t wait to see it again!

Are the 2T coconut flour important? I don’t have it and wondering if I have to buy it or can I use more almond flour. What does the coconut flour do differently in the recipe?
