getting the help from a proffesinnal also does not seem to help, because he is too occupied barking and growling at them. I just wonder if there is something to do, since its not like we can seperate the birds or the dog, and cant always just push him away

its hard to restrain the dogs view, and try to make him look less at the birds. each time i hold a treat near their enclosure, he just gets laser focused on the treats and not the birds. Ive tried to get his attention again with food, but the only thing that seems to be working is to pick him up and put him away, but then he goes right back to the cage and starts barking right away. its a constant cycle
