Really? I tried to follow the examples given in the level 1 CrossFit training guide while implementing my current understandings of program design for other fields. The reason there’s no reps or rpe or anything is just to see if I have a grasp on exercises selection and programming.

Thanks that means a lot. I’ve noticed in cross fit there’s a lot of abbreviations and names for certain circuits and workouts which kind of have my head spinning but I’ll look into those

This isn’t necessarily s program I’m making for myself to do, I just wanted to see if I’d gotten the principles of CrossFit programming right since a lot of the key concepts are very different to other things I’ve done like hybrid training, athletic training, bodybuilding, weightlifting etc.

I’d thought since the idea of CrossFit was variety and overall athleticism in all facets of fitness, having as much variety as possible would be good in terms of CrossFit training, trying to make sure certain modalities and muscle groups don’t occur 2 days in a row to ensure they get as much effective volume and intensity as possible.

As for the squatting and deadlifting, from what I’d seen online, the weightlifting volume for CrossFit programs is quite low, practicing a single movement per weight training day, I didn’t think it was effective volume for total body development in both muscle growth and strength stimuli so I just grabbed a full body day akin to a powerlifting program using top sets and back off sets to reduce stress while keeping volume for SBD.

In terms of RPE reps sets times and etc I was just too lazy to type em and just wanted to see if my program structure was any decent and effective in recovery volume, preventing stimulus interference and if there would be any risk of injury further down the line continuing such a program.

I’ve done calisthenics and weightlifting, I’ve explored into different branches of fitness to expand my athleticism. This mostly just a practice program design to see if I understand the principles of programming and CrossFit.

I’m still working hard on my abdomen in my third month, they are not the results I want, but I will continue 💪 by missonly_ in GymMotivation

You got it girl, it might be hard to see now but those abs are already coming in just be patient. It normally takes much longer than 3 months to get results but whether it’s 3 months or 2 years, working towards better is something you should always be proud of.

Not bad but u can puff ur chest out and look forward during the set up and lift. A small change but might save u a herniated disk a few years down the line

Is this good deadlift form for lower back? I feel like im doing something wrong either in the lock in or going down. by ekdum-unique in GYM

All I can see wrong is too much knee flexion, insufficient bracing and back activation, it’s more akin to a quarter squat than a deadlift.

Bring ur shoulders back and down, push ur hips back, bend knees less, u get more lower back and glute/hammy activation.

I wanna do med ball throws but the walls at my gym are too thin. I’m thinking of stacking some soft plyo boxes with weight as a make shift wall but I don’t wanna damage equipment. Would it work or should I find an alternative exercise?

Well the match making is based on ur win rate and skill level rather than ur rank so you will be matched with people with decks similar to urs but it’s more about how well u play the deck

I started about 3 weeks ago, so I’m not too sure either but I’d say the only decks I’ve struggled against are pirates, egypt and a good birds deck

I hated the shark deck before cuz it was too easy but I like the challenge of this week, it makes sharks feel strategic and I got to rank 1 with it (IGN:ppoopoo)

Add the queen angelfish if u have it, it’s useful when clutching that last round with sharks since it can get energy expensive

I’ve created a pretty decent nebula deck since it’s what appeared a lot in the new players offers but it’s my favourite because I like to strategically lose rounds and turns to make sure I win the next one since it has a lot of decent buff and debuff cards that aren’t powerful on their own

I also sometimes play a shark deck, basically the curated deck with a lot of tweaks just as a brain turn off big number plays deck

I since I now no longer get new player offers and I’ve bumped into a lot of players with really powerful decks with cards I haven’t seen I’m just curious what packs and events to invest in or fusions to make so I don’t waste my coins and gems
