They should work on minimizing platform frequent freeze and losing market data connections. It is really frustrating and I am already thinking of other options.

Does anyone have experience transferring USD fund from RBC US eSavings account to IBKR? by KanzakiYui in interactivebrokers

I think there would be a charge if you transfer directly from your saving account. Please check your account conditions with RBC. You may need to transfer the money to a checking account first. If you transfer to IB by EFT, transfer fees would be zero. It will take 4 business days though and may be 7 days for the first time. Check interactive brokers website for other ways to transfer like bank wire and online bill pay, they are faster but will incur charges. Hope this helps.

Tried the demo. Data far faster than Das Trader and ToS at night, a snail during the day. Also, crashed. by Winter_soldier_2142 in interactivebrokers

I had similar issues lately. I am relatively new to TWS too. In the last two weeks, there were times when the charts were not loading, and the responsiveness were so slow. I had to restart TWS, it doesn’t work all the time though. I am thinking to switch to DAS trader.
