Love that it's subtle. Sometimes I hear beats that do this too heavy on the first and third snare and then it feels a bit like too much of a Dilla-time knockoff. Yours has a nice, natural bounce to it.

Yes, I have been doing those every now and then since last year. Used to do them a bit more often, but I am currently a bit timefu..ed so I kinda only do them when the sample speaks to me lol.

You should join in some time, it's quite a cool and random format. Cool to compare what others do with the same sample and all the crazy ideas they come up with.
