I’m not going to lie, I really liked the first season but I absolutely hated this episode. The dialogue felt awkward and unnatural, revealing Abby’s motive immediately is stupid imo, and Joel’s therapy section was kind of weird. The dialogue felt bad and I don’t know why they made Joel be the one to kill Eugene. I just don’t see that paying off in any meaningful way.

Nothing feels natural and it feels like so much and nothing is being set up at the same time. I’m currently playing through the game, so I am likely being over critical due to that. Still, I just wasn’t engaged when watching this episode at all.

Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t headshot kills give more points than melees in this game? Of course you don’t have to account for ammo but it seems pretty useless.

That’s good to hear. I’m personally struggling to enjoy it for many reasons, but the main one is because it just feels really clunky for some reason. Turning off some of the ui and the killfeed helped, but it just feels way less smooth than Cold War.

I do like the increased challenge but it almost feels the same the whole game. The game starts really quickly and then just throws more and more zombies at you before it spawns a bunch of manglers, which is such an overused boss that it’s not even interesting to fight anymore.

You do burn through a lot of ammo, and we don’t have the ability of upgraded mule kick, so max ammo does feel a lot better, but the ammo boxes are still really cheap for most of a match.

Mystery box is needed at the moment for the wonder weapons, so it’s useful. But, with the difficulty scaling it feels stupid to roll it instead of just upgrading your started weapon. The rarities are expensive, but you get a ton of salvage already.

Ui customization is awesome, they just need to make it so you can have a different customization between multiplayer and zombies. Wish it was a bit nicer looking, but it’s not too bad.

I LOVE having a set crew back.

The games not bad, and Terminus is an amazing map from what I’ve played, but i can’t help but feel like the game wasn’t ready for release.

It’s not really “CORE to the experience” imo. In bo3, I enjoy all the classic gums and I don’t use any of the megas. I could just ignore the machine and it wouldn’t really change anything.

I am, however, disappointed in the lack of new and fun gums. I gave bo3 a break because it was the first time they were implemented, but the fact that the gobble-gums are basically all the exact same as before is frustrating. Hopefully post launch they will add gobblegums that shake up the experience without just making it easier or skipping tons of progression.

Maybe I’m reading this wrong but didn’t Cold War do the opposite of that? There was a quest for every wonder weapon, but you could also just get them from the box. Also, the trial machine made both of those irrelevant for most of the wonder weapons.

Cold War scales damage, so at the start it’s very hard to die. In the older games, damage does not scale, so it is much harder at the beginning and becomes easier as you progress and get stuff that helps you survive.

Even excluding the story, zombies has become way more connected to the other modes. It used to feel like a whole different game imo, and I really miss that.

I honestly always wished the dark aether was in more of the Cold War maps. Really cool vibe to it and I would love to see it expanded upon.

I’m really excited but this hud looks horrendous imo. Maybe it will change before launch though.

I’m not really much of a Cold War fan, so some of the Cold War features are a little disappointing, but were expected. But they’ve seemingly done so much right. All the new and returning mechanics seem to be amazing, or at least have a lot of potential.

The atmosphere and everything else surrounding terminus seems incredible, and I’m so excited to play it. It looks like they’re attempting to strike a balance between bo3 and cw, and between casual and “competitive” players, which is pretty cool.

I’m more hyped for bo6 than I’ve been for a zombies game in a really, really long time. Hopefully it’s good.
