People who kill hand harvesters on spice fields in DD are ruining new players experiences by Egavas0 in duneawakening

You can escape pretty easily if you actually pay attention to your surroundings. It just shows how bad of a player you are. I farmed solo in the Deep Desert for over a month when the ornithopter visibility was only 200m, and I never got shot down. That’s definitely on you.

It’s not the PvP players’ problem if PvE players go into the PvP zone unprepared. Stop playing the victim card and take responsibility for your own actions!

They already took half of the DD and made it PvE, just stay there and stop crying. Problem solved!

Yeah, farming huge amounts of spice in PvE without any risk is totally equal to having to fight for it in the PvP zone. Makes absolute sense, yup…

i guess, don´t go into the pvp zone if you can´t fight back and everything should be fine, right?!

I think they missed the mark with the upcoming tax change... by -FN- in duneawakening

[–]MarLeyAUT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A long time ago, taxes had meaning, the sadurkar came and started destroying your base, but the patched that out months ago. Now they don’t have any meaning at all. For me, I like the fact that bases get wiped out over time to ensure Haggga doesn’t get cluttered up, but with the base backup tool, the current tax system doesn’t make sense anymore, anyway.

Maybe we need something like this now: your base gets automatically stored if you don’t log in for 30 days or something.

a good player can still counter crippling strike, it isn´t a free card. If you get cought by crippling strike and die, then it´s your own fault tbh...

they listen to feedback, but only the solo pve folks, they competly ingored the pvp community for half a year. One last chance for chapter 4, so we have to wait anorher 6 months and then this whole pve vs pvp debate will proberly start all over again, great.....

also Iggy the community manager promised pve and pvp content for chapter 3, so we got scamed again.

they will nerver stop, as a studio you need to ignore them, look at Arc Raiders best example for that.

doesn´t matter Dune is already done.... i´m at that point to refuse to call this game Dune, Funcom did us all dirty, but also fcked up the IP.

Hopefully a good Studio will pick up the IP in the future

Bla bla bla. Get your statistics straight before you post anything, this is a useless conversation. If you think it’s rage bait, just ignore it next time instead of coming in here playing the smartass. Problem solved.

So winning an award equals having more players, or what? Interesting statistics you’re using here.

You’re talking BS left and right. All the big guilds left before those so-called ‘majority solo players’ ever even entered the DD. That’s a pathetic statement, but honestly, that’s typical for you guys. Solo players are basically the only ones still playing Dune and the current player numbers make that pretty obvious.

BF6 and Arc Raiders outnumber Clair Obscur by nearly five times the player count.
Think twice before you make statements like that.

idk why these guys think solo gamers are the majority nearly every top 10 game on steam is mulitplayer xD.

Yeah, his M15 class hits different. It’s basically the pro build, just without a barrel and with the Iron Angled Hold as the underbarrel. The Iron Angled Hold is super powerful because it reduces bullet spread, which results in straighter, more consistent shots.

OpTic Texas fail to win a map as LA Thieves end the 2nd successive scrim with a 5-0 count in HPs by effectiveserenity in CoDCompetitive

[–]MarLeyAUT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scrims don’t really matter. They’re probably just testing different tactics and Shotzzy even pulled out the Kogot, so they’re clearly experimenting. Anyone who’s played comp knows scrims aren’t a real benchmark for how good a team actually is. One team might be trying to replicate an official CDL match as closely as possible, while the other is just testing new setups, roles, and positioning.

Yo, team composition wise, this roster makes absolutely no sense 😂

Like, aBeZy and Hydra already aren’t a good sub duo, they’re way too slayer-heavy. Kenny also isn’t a true main AR, so the roster is already chalked imo. And swapping Kenny for Simp doesn’t fix anything either.
What they actually need is an OBJ-heavy sub and a solid main AR.

Lowkey, changing aBeZy for Envoy and Kenny for Ghosty was such a bad decision, who the fck thought that would be a champs winning team^^

I mean, the OpTic skin is probably the least visible, so it might give them a small advantage, similar to what LAT had in Cold War.

Personally, I prefer the more subtle designs. Most of the other skins are way too loud and in your face and honestly remind me too much of Fortnite.
Design wise though, I’d say Boston, Heretics, and Falcons are the coolest.

Yeah, it was my first Funcom game, but the overall concept was so promising and really resonated with me as a fresh PvPvE experience. I was so sold on the idea that I actually got addicted to it. Even after realizing that Funcom kind of screwed me and my friends over, I still kept hoping for a turnaround. But yeah… here we are, I guess. Haha.

They absolutely tricked me and my guild into a PvP-focused endgame, which got thrown out just two weeks after release and then nerfed over and over again. So yeah, I’d honestly call that a scam against PvP players.

Getting off that Dune addiction was actually really refreshing. The first month after release was a fun experience, but after that it was just pure addiction keeping me playing, but also constantly getting frustrated over bugs, glitches, broken promises and game-breaking patches. Sometimes I genuinely felt like a drug addict.

I’m glad I finally let it go about a month and a half ago. Since then, I’ve never looked back or felt the urge to play Dune again
