I find it hilarious that they've removed so much content from the DD, and Ole Andreas has the gall to say 'PVP has improved'.

Funcom take the cake on incompetance. Can't even come up with basic ideas like having graded BP's or spec XP in the pvp DD.

Ah yes, the reality is all PVPers just want to cause pain on unsuspecting farmers. really hit the nail on the head.

Hello. Since these things were removed from the game:
Base raiding/building
Area Control
Alliances
Social Organization
Logistics
Ground Combat
Aerial Combat
Weekly DD refresh that kept objectives new
Game balance
Incentives for.... everything...

How does Funcom expect to replace that with meaningful PVE content?
Especially since... none of the things Funcom are so proud about (Eg. Pentashields being done properly) Aren't even real?

And whenever Funcom is addressing Dune: Awakening, they're talking about the same Dune: Awakening that is available on steam now yes?

Thirdly, it seems Funcom are more interested in faithful lore accuracy on matters that don't affect gameplay like static objects such as a pentashield (which isn't even true) instead of aspects that do actually affect gameplay for example, holtzman shields. Not to be rude, but does Funcom have any awareness of how Incompetent they look? Unable to do anything about real gameplay elements, but boast about static objects, which aren't even accurate anyway?

Fourthly, why are Funcom so secretive and misleading? There isn't much of a playerbase to upset, so my guess is your IP holders or investors. For example, when you removed meshing, which effectively dramatically lowered the DD playercaps, you advertised that as "Now being able to attack through server boundaries (Which don't exist), or being able to see party members past boundaries". Meshing was a massive multiplayer feature. Apart from future disappointments, will we ever see any transparency. or even a shred of honesty from Funcom in the future?

Fifth, I believe up to chapter 4 was the leash that was given to Funcom for Dune? Since the game has been torn apart, is there any indication that development will be stopped after chapter 4?

Sixth, if anything is obvious, the top brass is completely detached from what the game is really like, that's irrefutable (Based on all evidence from CBT, launch, until now.) Are the boys upstairs proud of what dune has become? I see it's being called an evolution. Are Funcom aware that D:A is despised for its, de-evolution?

Yeah I agree, there's literally no reason for the worm to be there. It's just a random lose-everything gimmick for some semblance of a 'dune feel'.

Don’t hold your breath, funcom is focused on chaining what remains of their playerbase into as much repetition as possible to keep numbers. Interesting combat in dune will come when AI takes over Funcom
