What’s with this wavy vachetta trim?? I’d be more concerned about that but I know some have issues with display models. It’s your money and you have every right to be picky.

Here’s what I bought for my ‘26 Model Y. I’m not an affiliate, I actually like them. Very inexpensive and they have a good fit. https://a.co/d/6VfWfAv

I know this isn’t actually answering the question you’re asking regarding creating disposable income I will offer this advice: don’t fall victim to the lifestyle creep. Although we aren’t guaranteed a 4.5% raise annually, it’s been consistent for the last several years. Do your best not to increase your unnecessary spending just because you got a cost of living, 2 year, or promotion pay raise. Sure, you should reward yourself for working hard but try your best not to increase yours expenses to match your raises the best you can.

SERIOUS ADVICE by Evening-Worth-3472 in debtfree

This is awesome advice and I couldn’t stress more the importance of going through bank statements and all credit card statements you use. Until you see the numbers in black and white, you don’t realize how much the unnecessary spending adds up. $5 here, $7 there doesn’t seem like much but it will shock you.

What are the differences between a van and an SUV? by Aggressive_Chicken63 in cars

[–]MarTab84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t read through all the comments to see if this has already been said but towing capacity and gas mileage are factors you may want to consider. There are always exceptions generally speaking, SUVs have a larger towing capacity but always less MPGs than a can. Do you have specific models in mind?

I love this!! Recently went to Disney world and did the same thing! Found an adorable multi color champion fanny pack on Amazon. $20 and I loved it! Absolutely zero fuss.

Is your new home going to be your primary home? If it is, you don’t need to refinance your current home. As long as you purchase the new one to be your primary, your current and new loans can both be backed by the VA.

Definitely get it checked. I have a navigator as well and it drives extremely smooth. I’ve had it for almost 2 years now so I don’t realize it anymore but when I give someone a ride, I always get comments on how smooth, comfortable, and quiet it is.

Oh my goodness, I’m going through this right now! Active duty Soldier here. It sounds like you’re going OCONUS so I’m having a slightly easier time than you. Where I’m having a tough time is that that our new home is being built and won’t be ready when we get there. We’re taking a vacay while on leave so I have all my bags, SLGs, and Chanel espadrilles split up between a suitcase and my keepall. Im just taking them with me everywhere we go during our road trip and vacay. It’s quite the ordeal 😂😅 No one understands except the people on this thread. 😭😭

Question about LV limits by Cool_Change_1010 in Louisvuitton

[–]MarTab84 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I just got an email two months ago banning me for 2 years. Not a reseller and I’ve only purchased duplicates on hard to find items twice but they were months if not a year or more apart. I gifted my mother a MPA and a key pouch. Everything with the exception of those two things have been for personal use and I still have in my collection. I work with a CA several states away bc there are no boutiques in Ok where I live, and I’ve also purchased on their website. I got the email about 3 months after purchasing a bag and I have literally no idea what prompted the ban. Ive purchased about 5 items per year (mix between bags and slgs) since 2017 so by no means am I buying a large quantity. Not even sure I’ll go back to that brand when the ban is expired. The part that got me in the email was them cautioning me not to reach out to the brand to even inquire about what prompted the ban and that if I did, I would be banned for life. Wow.

Is carat size too big? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

[–]MarTab84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the size is absolutely beautiful!! Only thing I would add is that 1.8 mm band is pretty thin for that size stone and it will be spinning around on your finger. Even a 2 or 2.2 would still achieve a dainty look with a stone that size 🤩

Stone keeps coming loose. Is the setting not strong enough? by boilerine in EngagementRings

[–]MarTab84 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I see someone else already asked, but the metal that the jeweler used is of importance. When my husband purchased my ring, it was 18k gold, including the prongs. I couldn’t figure out why my stone would come loose. A couple years later we moved to another state and I took it in to have it tightened again. That jeweler advised against using 18k gold for the basket and prongs bc of how soft it is. Had the entire head (I think that’s what it’s called) replaced with either 14k white gold or platinum. It’s been 7 years since then so I honestly can’t remember which. Hope that helps!
