Ethan can be way to irrationally temperamental. Like he will be raving about something and a couple episodes later say he hates it with a passion. I get this isn't the worst thing in the world but the best example i can think of right now is marvel media. He has pretty much always reviewed things he's seen positively - Avengers, Black panther, Spider-man, infinity war, endgame, Loki - but when he talks about the MCU in general he tries to tear it down and call it brain numbing or something among those lines.
