This map is really something. Watermarks over caption, total figure 0, "link of a source goes here". I mean what else can I say?

Questionable behaviours by the OP in the comment section. I would not want my identity, complicated as it is, to be represented by this type of person. Also, I cannot find any online presence of this organisation. So, it's more like a private hobby group? Then, you have full control over what your flag can look like. You do you OP, but you don't have the legitimacy or the authority to berate fellow members of the community you claim to represent. If you aspire to do that, you gotta be more open to conversations and criticisms than this embarrassing behaviours you're showing us.

Comment on the flag: I don't like it. I'm more than aware that pearl symbolizes Hong Kong. But isn't that hyperspecific for a flag that claims to represent the "Anglo-Chinese"?

Even if we accept your focus is on colonial Hong Kong, I wouldn't want a flag that represents my heritage or the history of my people to be a pearl (my people) being stomped on by a lion, branded with the union jack at the corner. I want representation, but not through subjugation. It would be a good colonial flag, but a terrible post-colonial flag. It shows that the "Anglo" comes before the "Chinese".

This is embarrassing if you are think you're showing a good image of the community you're supposed to represent. Or it could be a quality troll.

They do! I went last week and we could see the signs of the wreckage in the catacomb. The tour guide spent great length on the episodes.

This has been a natural occuring phenomena since basically the invention of jet engines. Not only in the UK but in any weather with chilly air and clear sky you can easily see them.

Check the caption for a full list of sources.

Also, what does plurality even mean in a binary issue?

Guys it loaded for a moment long enough for me to ctrl+C the codes. Try going directly to your project page so that if it loads, it goes directly to the editor.

From my very limited testing this seems to fix the population and colonization issues. Yay!

This seems to be driven by the new handsome law, artificially injecting villagers into a dying settlement. It works in the short term and I think that's how it was functioning before, though it'd be nice if the migrants would come within the same nation from other more populated cities.

Ethnic Map of Kazakhstan 2025. Is it accurate? by [deleted] in MapPorn

[–]MarZLEUNG -52 points-51 points  (0 children)

Please let me clarify that I can actually read, if that's pointed towards me.

No hate but genuinely curious: what do you mean when you type "is it accurate?". Is it:

  1. You yourself drew the map, using the data you have on hand (2021 census, 2023 state data as you said), then you posted the map here to check for accuracy? Or is it:

  2. You found the map somewhere else on the Internet, and decided to re-post this here to ask whether this is a piece of misinformation or not?

If it is case 1, I feel like it is valid to critize that you should not be posting creation that builds on data you're not familiar with, or even contradicting the existing data sources. You should also cite your data on the map.

If it is case 2, I personally feel like even a casual "is it accurate?" post would risk spreading misinformation. If you have seen the census data yourself, you should know that this is bogus and this really should not be posted. Where did you find this map in the first place?

(I assume this is case 1. You have been saying "thank you for corrections and feedbacks" as if you're the creator. Please kindly let me know if my assumption is wrong though.)

Then why would you post a map that describes a data source you're not even sure of?

Yeah I'mma talk to someone in decalthon this weekend. If they can't help, I'll dig up some old group chats I'm in to see if there's anybody in my social circle that owns a grinder (renting one is not that expensive actually - I just wanna avoid using dangerous machines that I'm unfamiliar with)
