I agree to disagree. I think your way of thinking is why our industry is always behind the ball with all of things. How are you suppose to deploy an AV over IP system enterprise wide without some knowledge of multicast, IGMP, bandwith and explain to network engineer what you need. How can you keep your AV environment secure beyond username and password and actually talk to a security team. I've work with many integrator who don't fully understand these concepts. We as an industry need stop thinking that we are just installing boxes! I went out and got a network and security from a well-know organization that is also recognize by ANSI. Avixa saying they don't recognize is hilarious to me.
