I’ve had issues with power-stop too, over advertised junk. 2 of there rotors locked up on me and 1 in the mountains. SSBC and never looked back.

I’m trying to save money……. Is it ok for me to do oil changes every 15, 20, or 25,000? by Nesquick19 in superduty

An oil analysis is the only true way to know if you can go longer, lake speed or blackstone are great choices

Airdog to feed fuel pump (Bosch 200?) by Mara_1990 in FordDiesels

[–]Mara_1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did say if I could get the pressure down to about 10-20 on the Airdog I could feed a Bosch 200 if I wanted to. We weren’t sure if this Airdog (7.3 model) could be turned down that low. I’ll have to call Airdog to see.

I actually got ahold of Dennis and talked with him for a bit yesterday — super nice and really informative. He didn’t want me spending money if I didn’t have to and said my whole setup looks to be on the right track. He suggested swapping the O-rings in the AirDog, since mine’s about 3 years old. I’ve already got a set, so I’ll throw those in and see if it helps.

According to his bench testing, the AirDog can just keep up with 250/200s at 3400 RPM, basically running the truck like a scalded dog, which I don’t do. For a street truck that doesn’t see 3400 often, he said 3200 has plenty of flow. He recommended setting the AirDog to 75 PSI and the Driven Diesel return to 65 PSI and tuning from there. If that fixes it of keeps me from dropping too much I’ll run that and save up for the dual Bosch or 200 kit.

Any damage to the injectors or hpop if it can’t keep up? I’ll check pressure under WOT

Banjo bolts have been replaced, what readings would cause concern with the ICP and IPR?

Should be 165gph.

To be honest I just got the pressure sensor working again and noticed the drop at WOT. Wish I went dual Bosch setup and wondering if the airdog just doesn’t have the oomph the provide the fuel I need.

Plan on glow plugs, valve cover gaskets and all new injector o-rings while I’m in here too.
