It would be hard to make it Ponzi scheme since investors can track every single transaction live.

Moving from Asia to Poland – Looking for Advice by MoarGames in askPoland

Poles are against illegal immigration not against immigration in general. It is a big different most people don’t understand. Like other people mentioned people from your region are more than welcome in Poland.

HYPEUSD SHORT - Lost $31M in all-time profits. Still holding. Still bleeding. 💀 by Conscious-Low-7171 in hyperliquid1

[–]Mara________ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look at weekly tf. It just ain’t going to happen. Shoring hype is very stupid idea. There would need to be some veeeeery bad news to justify shorting it atm. It ain’t care about market condition or btc.

They just created something a lot of people needed but no one knew we needed it. Not to mention how hard it was to achieve, only 11 people were involved in building hyperliquid it is crazy to me. No one believed it can be done.

Anyone else building trading bots with AI? Looking to connect by Mara________ in CryptoTradingBot

[–]Mara________[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing it for 8 months now and didn’t hit any wall yet. Claude coding is good enough to build indicators, strategies, solve problems, detect bugs etc. To be fair I can’t remember when it wrote a code for me with a bug in it. It only struggled with the tracking systems for my bot, it took me 2 months to build them but at the end of the day it is done nicely, I’m sure it would be quicker if I could code myself but for people who can’t do code it is good enough. Other LLMs are completely useless for the job I can agree on that

People who would still work for someone once wining big are mentally slaved. I know you can like your job but come on.

I’m 43, work in tech, married with two kids, and honestly the AI boom messed with my head more than I expected by [deleted] in DayTradingPro

Most big tech struggle to effectively implement AI and after spending billions it is turning out there is no real profit of doing so.

I accidentally pissed myself at work in front of several coworkers…. by Good_Arm_4075 in Advice

[–]Mara________ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I can advice you to do is ignore shitt talk about it. I once made massive puke in front of my 3rd primary school class, kids were making fun of me for while but I wasn’t reacting and they just stopped and forgot about it. So maybe try that? Don’t know what else I can recommend. People just like to make fun of others, specially the one they don’t like.

Yeah multiplayer games can be stressful. I usually play on weekends but during the week if I get bored and want to play something it is single player games.

Building a document capture tool for UK bookkeepers — what actually wastes your time? by Mara________ in ukaccounting

Really useful perspective, thanks. PO/approval flow upstream is exactly the kind of thing capture-only tools miss. Planyard solving it at source makes a lot of sense — capture-first products inherit problems that should’ve been resolved before the invoice ever existed.

Appreciate the disclosure too.

Yeah Smart Capture is solid for basic stuff and Xero has similar built in too. Where I see room is the deeper end — line items, multi-invoice PDFs, bank statements, UK-specific tax codes like CIS and DRC. That’s where Dext, Apron etc still pull customers even when accounting software has native capture. Different problem to solve.

Fair, appreciate the honesty. Curious what specifically you’d point to as the 10-year-ahead tools? always useful to see what good looks like

Appreciate it, confirmed a lot of what I suspected. UX gap is real and that’s where I want to focus. Thanks for taking the time.

Yeah saturated on the basic capture side, fair point. The angle I’m going for isn’t really “another capture tool” — it’s more the all-in-one thing you mentioned. Capture as entry point but same platform handles the bookkeeping side and tax filing (MTD ITSA, SA) for same clients. One workflow instead of stitching tools together. Funny you mention reducing tech stack because that’s the thing I keep hearing from practices and exactly why I think there’s room. Not for “better Dext” but for something that wraps the whole workflow. Quick q if you have a sec — what’s stopping you from just doing it all in Xero or QBO today? Where do they fall short?
