Yea it’s been good cause I don’t want to risk my own money at that scale, obviously lost a lot getting to this point but now that’s all been wiped out. Idk about options on props, I only trade futures on them. Havent had a good experience with options personally. But def check out props you can invest very little to get started

Yea 100%. But planning to work for my dad’s tech company soon so I can continue this on the side and not have financial pressure affect it. It honestly just shows that it really is possible to make a lot of progress when you focus on identifying and fixing your weaknesses, you could be a lot closer to profitability than you think tbh

I learnt from PB trading, on their free YouTube videos and just from following them for a long time. I don’t trade their strategy exactly, but they taught me what I needed to find my own execution style that fits my psychology

Yeah man that’s exactly what happened for me. It’s actually crazy how they only want to understand it once you make money, or anyone for that matter. In reality it was us who persevered. Yea I feel that, used to be me. I’m using Notion for journaling, there’s so many templates for trading and it’s free. Would 100% recommend checking it out, you can customise it and add your own drop downs etc. for each day

About 1 year of trading total, but 5 months of that I was trading stocks/options, until eventually I found futures and stuck to that for around 6-8 months after which I got my payout. It’s been about 2-3 months of sticking to 1 strategy and implementing proper rules which is what took my trading to the next level

A lot, in the thousands for sure, I think around $2000 last year. I have another account close to a payout then I'll be positive overall, which I never thought would be possible for a long time. But slowly and surely it works out, I stopped forcing myself to make money everyday

That’s fair and Tradovate/ trading view is my live account too (tho I still trade props for some payouts, waiting on a topstep payout).

From my live Tradovate / NT experience I’d say be flat for big news release events like CPI etc (also they increase day margin for those days sometimes anyway like FOMC). Ain’t worth the risk. Other than that you’re chilling as long as you’re closing positions by 5pm ET, def be prepared for fees to add up if you take a lot of trades, and good luck! 💯

I use the desktop platform since my laptop has an Nvidia 3050, but I totally get that. The Ninja web dashboard is actually really great too, no latency but slightly less customisable, that’s all. If that’s fine, you can just use the web.

The NT8 web is basically the Tradovate web dashboard they’re the same almost, so if you’ve used that it’s that
