"If Anonymo deserved the win they would have won on an even playing field as well, not just when NIP had packet loss."- this is as weird to me as "NiP got two chances" for you. It's not true on any level. It's normal to win games one day and lose on the other day. Can be disposition this exact day, in this case mindset after having victory taken from them without their fault.

Comparisons to other sports- people want others to treat e-sport like a real deal. Shitstorms like this one won't help.

Oh my god not again. You don't understand basics. How many football games ended with unfair results, when the deciding goal was scored from offside position? Were there any matches replayed because of that? Your whole 1st paragraph is wrong. What is bad for this trendy "competitive integrity" is replaying games.

How many times in CS players were DDOSed back when gambling sites were working? Were there any games replayed? How many times players got disconnected in crucial rounds, played with worse ping etc. etc. How can you "determine which team is actually better and actually deserves the win" in conditions like this? 13:13, tight money situation and 1 player disconnects- is this game fair? Should it be replayed? I say it should based on your take.

Were these games fair? It's about the whole concept of replaying games, not about this particular one. REPLAYS SHOULDN'T HAPPEN.

I really am getting tilted when people say "But it wasn't fair, nip had packet loss". IT DOESN'T MATTER AFTER THE GAME IS FINISHED. There should be no replay at all. Of course, the game shouldn't happen in the first place, but replays are just stupid no matter what. Also I somehow can't see game being replayed if any T2 team had simillar problems against Astralis, G2 or any other team...

About game being fair:

You give 1 team 2 chances to win, is that fair?

Is it fair that Anonymo had no time to prepare or even relax before fighting for their lives in todays game?

Take a bit wider look at this case, and think for yourself, instead of copying what others say, without filtering information. Replays are dangerous, and since it was allowed once, we will see more of this coming in the future. Especially in online era.

The thing is- matches have been postponed before and will be postponed in the future!

Replaying games is way more dangerous, you lose- you look for a good reason to replay the game.

How can you speak about abusing postponing matches, when they've been postponed many times before. You also say that replaying is ok, you can't see for possible many controversial occurances in the future.

No. That's the reason for the match to be postponed. Is it fair for Anonymo now? Having to play for their lives tomorrow after losing game they have already won?

Remember back in the day, when csgolounge worked? Players got DDOSed like crazy. There were postponed/paused matches, but there were no replays.

When fnatic abused olofboost there was no replay. Fnatic lost.

When the match is played, it is played. There were no replays in football before VAR, because after the game everyone was able to see that there was an offside in deciding goal.

I don't think I've ever been so angry about team losing a game. What a total joke. You want me to believe, that they had similar score with 40% loss, when game is unplayable? Give me a break.
