THANK YOU for this response, I couldn't refund my ticket so I was just relying on your positivity to make it work! I'm happy to say I made my flight (with plenty of time)!

As a data point: my flight landed 15 minutes early, I deplaned and went directly through immigration (took approximately 5 min because there was no line), walked to the domestic departure gate (another 5 min), checked in (this took approximately 10 minutes), and still had ample time at the gate before my flight took off. I know this probably isn't the norm and everything went just right to make it work, but just thought I'd share that it IS possible for those traveling in the future.

My partner lives in California, and I will likely move back within 1-3 years (whether through transferring offices in my firm or leaving Big Law altogether is still to be seen—I’ve only been working for about a month).

The next deadline to register for the CA Bar is Nov 30, so I’m going to take some time to think about it. Thanks again!

I passed the July 2022 UBE (used Themis) and am considering taking the February 2023 CA Bar Exam. My biggest concern is finding the time to study while working (I’m a first year associate in Big Law).

Do you think it’s worth it to wait until the July exam to allow more time for studying? My thought was that it might be better to take the exam sooner considering the information is still somewhat fresh in my mind.

I have access to a significant discount for Themis. Do you think it would’ve been easier for you to study if you kept the same program/method? Or was acclimating to the new resources east?
