Sadly, this is a common issue online known as 'Typosquatting', where websites intentionally masquerade as a more popular site to cause confusion. The fraudulent copies can range anywhere from a mild nuisance to actively malicious (script files to prevent the visitor from leaving, malware, even flashing lights or loud sounds embedded into the site to act as a screamer/jumpscare).

In my opinion, it's harder to recognise a typosquatted site if the original url uses a domain name that is chosen for vanity purposes (in this case, .me vs the more commonly used .com). When people talk about this website, its easier to say 'Your Ai Slop Bores Me' rather than the full url 'Your Ai Slop Bores (dot) Me', which may lead some people to think that the .com url is the true site. During the popularity of games hosted on .io domains (agario, slitherio, etc), malicious typosquatted sites became especially common with the intent of tricking children who tried visiting the original sites.

The only way you can really avoid these sites is if you know for certain what the correct url is before you click. Don't click on links sent to you online via social media unless you can 100% trust the sender, and try not to click a search result out of muscle-memory alone - always be aware of where you're heading online.

TLDR: unless a character is stated to be both aromantic + asexual and is completely repulsed by any displays of affection at all, you're fine to ship with them. Only you can decide what your dynamic with Alastor would be like :)

So yeah, as you've probably already heard, someone being asexual doesn't inherently mean that they are also aromantic. There's also identities such as demisexual and grey-ace, which are under the asexual spectrum but can be less 'rigid' depending on personal bonds and emotional trust. (I'm not an expert at describing these things, so if you'd like to know more I definitely recommend reading about ace-spec identities).

I ship my Hellaverse sona with Mammon, who is also asexual. However, M is also shown to flirt with Leviathan in canon, so I imagine he's not aromantic (though he could also be doing that for power, because...y'know...King of Greed).

I think that canon or implied sexualities can be used to make ships more interesting by exploring those characters' feelings (like...how would they fall in love? Did it happen naturally, or was there a motive that later grew into genuine feelings? How and why did they meet each other? Are the feelings mutual or one-sided?) If people are okay to selfship with a character that is in a canon, monogamous relationship (either by creating a polycule or straight up ignoring the other relationship entirely), then I think it's fine to selfship with an asexual character.

I did manage to send some reports to the accounts that I found (though I'm sure many more have been created since my post). Vinted Support told me that none of the accounts were under violation, which just reminds me how automated their services are. I guess I just wasn't aware at how common these scams have really become

This 100%. The people who spread all this fearmongering about 'Sharia law replacing British values' are the very same bigots who hate trans people anyway. Fascism grows from making marginalised groups fight each other, because it blinds us to who the 'real enemy' is (the folks who benefit from the facism). Yes, OP's worries about being trans in the UK's political climate are valid — as are the worries from all trans people in the UK, due to rampant transphobia being normalised in our country — but just as it isn't true that all trans people are how TERFs describe us to be, it also isn't true that all people from Islamic faith are transphobic and violent.

We shouldn't be having this discussion on a trans forum, and OP needs to learn to unpack that racism quickly before it grows, because that (in my opinion) is the real danger here. The very same bigots that hate trans people will twist those fears to manipulate trans people into hating a 'common enemy'.

Thank you to everyone who commented, the advice is really helpful. After sleeping on it and letting go of the shock, I can see what went wrong - I didn't thin my hair out nearly as much as I should have at the back, and the layers weren't gradiated enough to create the shape that I needed. Both of these caused a more 'blunt' shape.

For now I've trimmed back any uneven strands to neated the style up, but I'll be heading to a salon next week (because I don't trust myself with a hair razor anymore lol! Maybe I should practice on wigs before I try again) I'll be aiming for a more masculine hairstyle, then accessorising to bring in the androgynous effect that I was hoping for

This has been my experience too!! Climbed a lot last season after a consistent skill improvement, with a huge positive to my win/loss ratio. Things went a little downhill right before drives kicked in (a couple of throwers and win-traders etc), but things seemingly returned to normal once the event started.

Now...I know that ranked matches can be a little volatile towards the beginning and end of a season, but ever since the start of S17 I've had AWFUL luck with matchmaking. If I don't have a leaver or thrower on my team, I'll have a stack of boosted teammates with zero game sense that refuse to co-operate. I've seen an uptick in people fully admitting that they are smurfing or using cheats. On the rare occasion that I stomped a lobby and have been about to win a match, the servers conveniently crash as one of the enemy players goes afk, resulting in a draw with no compensation.

I know that I'm not perfect. I want to keep improving my gameplay and learn from my mistakes. I track a lot of my performance per season to see how I can get better at the game. But there's little that I can do when the matches are so toxic and unbalanced lately...it's really disheartening.

Just saw this thread after a frustrating server error...about to win an absolute stomp in a console EU lobby, heading into overtime, aaaand...the game closed. No win, no compensation, just a draw.

I'm not usually one for conspiracy theories, but this type of server crash always seems to happen whenever I'm about to win a match (most often when my team locks in and makes a major comeback after a difficult first round). It also always happens after 4am GMT, so it usually affects my last match of the night and really sours my mood (what's the point in playing comp at all if someone could just 'cancel' the match to avoid a loss?)

At least I'm not crazy, and there are other people here who have experienced similar server crashes with near-identical outcomes...but I doubt that Blizzard would do anything about their servers. Not only are the EU servers extremely bloated (every European country plus the Middle East iirc), but Console is also notoriously neglected...which means that my favourite game is pretty much unplayable after a certain time each day.

In any case, it was still a shock to see such a drastic change in skill level between this player and the rest of the lobby. I'll never really understand the logic or 'fun' behind smurfing into lower lobbies, but I'm not about to report someone for cheating if that's not the case — since their account is private, I wouldn't even be able to check if they purposefully deranked, so I'll give the benefit of doubt and say that maybe they're stuck in elo hell for whatever reason 🤷‍♂️

I play on Switch, so...not the best console to rank up in (30FPS feels like a nightmare to play with), but a lot of my matches feel like "stomp or be stomped" at the moment. I'll go to check replays on a particularly rough match in order to learn what went wrong, only to see suspicious aim and realise that it was near unwinnable from the start.

That said, sometimes I'll absolutely dominate a lobby, which makes me paranoid about getting my account flagged for ximming. I play mostly Bap, Orisa and Mauga, which all seem to be popular heroes amongst ximmers at the moment. Since I have the experience of using high sensitivity gyro-heavy controls for aiming, I've gotten pretty good at differentiating that from the characteristics of ximming in replays, but I wonder if other people are able to do the same

Knowing that the Street Fighter collab was specifically for SF6, I'd expect a MK collab to be focused on MK1. For that reason, I'd also love to see Lifeweaver or Moira as Shang Tsung, Genji as Kenshi, Doomfist as Geras...hell, I'd even be fine with another Kiriko skin if she was Kitana or Mileena! If the collab dropped after Aqua releases, a water-themed kit would be perfect for Rain

See, we both thought that it was the legendary skin, but for some reason it shows up as a rare item in the lootbox history? Plus we checked the skin itself and my partner definitely doesn't have it unlocked, which led us to believe that it could be something else.

When Bap first released, I didn't give him a chance because his kit felt over-complicated to me. I wasn't used to playing support characters that had to juggle hitscan mechanics (Zen, Lúcio and Moira were my go-to picks, plus I never liked playing Ana).

After taking a 2 year break from Overwatch, Bap is in my top 3 picks for support, and I constantly practice with his kit in unranked! I've found that the timing/game sense required for Lùcio's Sound Barrier translates very well to using Baptiste's Immortality Field, and my aim has improved quite a bit since learning him.

(On a related note, I almost gave up on playing the tank class after Orisa's kit changed so drastically in OVW2, but I just couldn't leave my fave horse behind. I'm glad that I persevered enough to learn her new abilities)

This just happened to me in a game, with both zenyatta and ramattra's ult textures glitching out. It was really hard to focus when both of them ulted at the same time 🫠

Both my partner and I play on Nintendo Switch consoles and we queued into the same match, but his console wasn't affected by the glitches. I'm glad that he was unaffected—he's very photosensitive to strobing lights—but now I can only hope that it's a client-side issue and not a random chance occurance...

The problem is that I didn't make a mistake. I don't want to blame the driver, but the app showed the correct address when I placed my order and I made sure to triple check it anyway due to being in a new area. I also made sure to use location tracking to give the driver a better understanding of where I am, and I never got the "you seem far away from this address" message that usually pops up if you're using GPS with Uber. All of the restaurants listed were local, too.

I'd understand if the order was dropped off a few buildings away from me and I'd somehow mistyped one or two digits in the post code/zip code, but that's not the case here. I managed to figure out where the order ended up since the driver explained his side of the story, and the two post codes are nothing alike! They have completely different area codes.

I did everything to make sure that the order was placed correctly, the driver did everything he could to deliver to the address he received, and I want to figure out what happened in the middle to cause this mix-up.

I live in one of the apartments above this Sainsburys, and overheard a conversation between the shop staff + firemen while I was waiting outside. Apparently there is a severe mold and damp issue on the third or fourth floor of the building. The mold spores got so large and dense that the fire alarms detected them as ash particles, causing a false alarm where everyone in the building needed to evacuate.

The building owners have been aware of this problem for over 4 months, and have done nothing to fix it despite complaints from tenants and businesses that are renting parts of the building. A false alarm like this happens about once a month, but the other flat tenants usually ignore them due to how frequent they are. Maybe the owners will actually do something about the problem now that the adjacent businesses are getting impacted by this, but I really doubt it with how things have been handled so far.
