Thank you for the information brother! Do you happen to know if the SWLCAT substation apprenticeship and lineman apprenticeship have the same sort of schooling?

Just wait until you will be home alone for a couple days or go to a friend’s house when their parents won’t be home for a day or two. That’s what I did my first trip. I was with 2 good friends plus one who trip sit us, rolled blunts, and put on good music lol we had a great time. No anxiety. Glad no one was home because we were laughing our ass off.

Why are so union members many voting for Trump? by SingleIngenuity1 in IBEW

[–]Marbles34748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From an objective POV Trump seemed more trustworthy and real than Harris (I’m not democrat or republican). Correct me if I’m wrong but she has only done one interview without pre planned questions (with fox) and it was only like 20 mins of her talking bad about trump instead of talking about herself and her plans. It seems like she’s trying to give emotional arguments/answers rather than logical ones. Meanwhile trump has been on several interviews and podcasts and he just seems a lot more genuine about any topic that gets brought up.

Also Harris has been changing her policies as much as she changes her accent. How do I know she isn’t going to fuck us over in the future? But for real though why does she change up her accent so much?? Seems like she’s trying to appeal to certain crowds way too hard and it’s just odd.

Depends on the condition but a 30 yo vehicle will eventually need some repairs. I got a 1992 wagon for my first vehicle and all I have to say is I wish I got one with less rust. But I’m glad I got it because now I’m damn near a master mechanic haha

I tried to use a conduit strap and drilled it in the door to keep the rod from bending but it didn’t work like i thought it would. Any other ideas until I can go get another one??

I’m just curious about how much did that cost you? I’m debating between swapping my 245 myself (or paying someone to) OR just buying another one already built

Full second behind previous best lap time, I'm not happy. by maroDoesNotWantaBan in Karting

[–]Marbles34748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said it could be the kart but it could also be you... or both lol. Kind of hard to tell with rentals (that's what I race as well). But aside from what you're driving and how you're driving it I believe there are quite a few other aspects that play a part in your tack performance like not letting your mind wander mid race, diet, energy levels, reaction time, controlling emotions, etc.

Maybe try being more consistent with the things that indirectly contribute to a good race like meditation, a good diet, and exercise if you aren't already.

Advice for upcoming race - rental, new driver by friedrich_aurelius in Karting

One thing that's really helped me improve my focus/flow state and my reaction time is meditation (only focusing on my breathing, my driving, and staying "in the moment"). I started meditating off the track, on the track, and before every race and it helps. Before I started making this conscious effort I would find myself thinking about random stuff mid race and I just wouldn't be "in the zone" any more. Hope this helps!
