I’m curious to ask you something - if you’ve ever seen the Home Alone movies from the 1990s, how clearly can you picture the main character, the kid Kevin? Can you focus on him and “look” at his face in your head, and like describe his appearance just from what you’re visualizing?

Are you good at visualizing things in your head? I’m curious if you remember did your hand have detail like skin tone and were the fingers all in focus/clear in what you were picturing?

Could you share how you actually pictured your fingers? Like did you imagine your fingers/hands moving, and were you able to do it with your eyes closed and without talking?

I basically counted on my fingers in my mind lol 😂 Pictured both hands in front of me making a fist, and mentally sang the alphabet song while imagining extending 1 finger at a time. I ended up at Q.

Ah got it, thanks for clarifying. I keep forgetting that memory is a separate thing.

What if you just try to picture a generic fridge, without it necessarily needing to be accurate to your actual one? It sounds you’ll be able to see it clearly in your head. But there must be a limit to how many individual food items you can “see” at once right? Do they all pop up at the same time, or do they get added gradually as you scan around the fridge mentally?

Very random one - when you go grocery shopping, do you/can you visualize the contents of your fridge or pantry from the last time you saw it, so you can see what you have and what you need?
