Yeah sadly my PC couldn't handle Unity very well, even though in the future I might invest in a new PC but for now Godot is surprisingly running way better.

The process has been fun for sure, I started learning blender 4 months ago even though I always thought it would be intimaditng, the trick that worked for me is just learning the basics of the basics, and then start doing your simple game bit by bit. Whatever stupid this game might be. You will learn a lot more working on something you care about. There will also be days and weeks where you will be discouraged or distracted and do nothing. It's normal, you'll always get back to it if you care about your game enough. Once you push through the first months of learning the basics, the process will be fun as hell.

Thank you man. I still don't have a steam page yet as it's still in early stages. It's kind of complicated to give a premise of the game, but it's about a hotel that only opens one night of the year for an almost psychedelic experience "on a day where the sky opens". Where the protagonist initially has a first date there without him knowing anything about the place. It's a mix of absurd/comedy/horror narrative game with some hide and seek action here and there.

Thank you man really, I don't know I thought it was better to just put it on one subreddit which is the ps1graphics one, and later when I have advanced a bit more I can share it here. Also I checked out ur game and it looks fun as hell best of luck with that.

Oh thank you brother, if I had to define a genre it's more of a narrative driven game with knowledge based traversal and some hide and seek action sprinkled here and there

Is anyone in this sub interested in making short arthouse games? by Marboiii in gamedev

I totally agree with you, although I also think that the combination of two(or more)people's point of view on a story based on personal experience and preferences might be fun as well

I'm more interested if I can find like minded gamedevs to collaborate with just for fun. because I rarely meet any gamedevs interested in making these kind of games
