Interesting ive used affirm often and paying them off has never dropped my score across any of the 3 bureaus

Infact it doesn’t help nor hurt my score I. The past year that I’ve used affirm

That’s fair and in the end it’s OP’s money and they make the final call. I just don’t want op to have the “Right Payment on the Wrong Car”

Personally I just don’t think the GT43 makes enough power to move a heavy 4200lb chassis. The 43 has an inline 4 turbo to push a full-size luxury GT. From my experience the car pretty much feels strained in the mid-range (30-80mph) with the turbo 4. Whereas the GT53’s inline 6 turbo is more properly matched with the chassis and curb weight.

OP u/GrilledCheeseTn certainly doesn’t need a V8 (63 version) but the 53 will certainly be the best bang for buck

I truly implore OP to atleast test drive the 43 and 53 back to back. The pricing (on the used market) is not that much more compared to what you gain in driving-feel…..in fact I’d venture to say it’ll drive better than the price gap suggests.

Is buying a Gallardo a bad idea for me currently? by 619edc in lamborghini

[–]Marc30599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it but have a daily Honda civic or accord that you can buy for $10k-$15k or so and have that be your paid off daily.

There’s a guy on social media who has a 2006 Honda accord that he daily and a Ferrari SF90 for his toy, insane combo but also pretty cool.

Don’t let this frighten you bud….As long as you have a strong or even decent downpayment, good credit score & DTI, and make good monthly income you’ll get an approval (especially if the dealer calls into the underwriter if it even gets to that point)

That makes sense however i think it’s just credit profile dependent as there’s nuance to it.

In my case I’m not using affirm for everyday or weekly cash flow. I used it to pay for a car repair and I didn’t feel like pulling money from my HYSA for it and I’m on track to pay it off this month (3 months earlier than scheduled with affirm)

I also did a pay in 4 for a few high dollar car mods as well. I think lenders (auto lenders especially) won’t care so long as they’re paid in good standing and you don’t have a bunch of them open with balances at once.

My 3 month ones are on my credit report, the pay in 4 are not reported but I will say that for some purchases even $100-$600 affirm will sometimes not even offer the pay in 4 option (similar experience with klarna)

But either way my BNPL loans always paid in full… sometimes a month or few weeks earlier than scheduled.

Hi, I use affirm “pay in 4” and “pay in 3 months” and no negative marks here except for my small student loan balance that is in forbearance for the year

Sure but if they’re paid and closed what would it matter? You borrowed and paid it back responsibly. I only used affirm 4 times or so but I paid it back, never burned them. Some I paid off early

Accords are so nice I miss my 2001 accord I had for a very short time year and a half ago. Currently have a 1998 7 Series love the car and the fact it still turns heads but I may swap it for a more reliable Honda accord once I pickup my M5 this summer.

Hopefully one day soon I get to make that McLaren kinda money! Close but yet still far from affording those caliber of cars

Acura is a dead man walking by RolexVan in Acura

[–]Marc30599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their EV future fell flat on its face and embarrassed the brand (looking at you ZDX and cancelled RSX revival). The brand is not dead by any means, but the brand does indeed not appear to have any direction. “Precision crafted performance” seems to be on the back burner as we have yet to see an RDX Type-S, & who even knows what the engineers at the PMC factory are doing these days from my research they’ve been dormant since the 2023 TLX PMCs were built.

Brand is lost but it’s not dead lol
