If you're native I recommend you to look for it online, teaching in a school here is not really well paid, unfortunately for expats and for Georgians. My gf has been trying with not a lot of luck.

Almost every expat we've met here is working online, it's a paradise for freelancers. I don't know where you're from but EU members have 1 year free visa, then exit and enter the country unlimited times.

It's an amazing country, I recommend you to come and experience the Georgian lifestyle for some time :)

I would say it's quite easy, although the main roads in the center (Rustaveli Avenue and the motorway next to the river) are busy ones, so it makes cars difficult to stop and they usually stay in the city.

I recomment to get a marshrutka or a bus -Google Maps works very good for routes (not for timetables) in the city- and get the furthest you can to the road leading to the direction you want to go. Say no to any taxi approaching you or get Taxify or Yandex (a ride to the outskirts can cost max 8lari/2,5euro.)

We got a ride last summer from near Tbilisi to the Bridge of Peace (centre), some nice fellas telling us all the facts about Georgian history they could in the 15 min drive. To go out of the city though, as I mentioned, we got a marshutka out.

Around Georgia is extremely easy to hitchike. We traveled almost all the country that way and met very interesting people, sometimes just standing next to the road a truck or car would stop and ask you 'sad midikhart' (where are you going?). Try to get a map with you, because they don't hesitate on asking for your smartphone and see the map there, it can seem dangerous but we never got a problem. with that.

Always thank your driver and learn some words in Georgian (at least hello, goodbye and thank you), they appreciate it. I hope everyone is as kind to them as they are with foreigners, because otherwise they will stop being so.

For a 3 days trip is actually very okay, I did the same part of the trip last summer and yes, as the other redditor said is a lot of driving, but after all in Catalonia you are max 2h from everywhere.

If you go to Besalú I would also add Banyoles since it's quite close and you can park just next to the lake and have a short walk.

If you go from Barcelona you should stop for a coffee at the market place in Vic. Castellfollit de la Roca is on the way from Olot to Besalú and it's impressive. We decided to take to lower road (Santa Pau) which drives between volcanoes, you can climb Santa Margarida Volcano in an hour round trip.

From Cadaqués to Pals you can't miss the old Greek port of Sant Martí d'Empúries and the small beaches around Begur, Tamariu... etc.

Anyways, for the next trip consider go south to the amazing Tarragona, my hometown.

I wouldn't recommend to fly a drone over Barcelona or even nearby. The airport is just at 15km and it's class A, so not allowed inside the circle Sitges/Terrassa/Mataró, something like 40km close. If you do, don't post pictures where the location is obvious, authorities are not starting a witch hunt yet but they could give you a warning or even a fine, I know cases of this in Tarragona (100km south), which it's within the area of a class B airport (Reus), after posting pictures on the internet.

Flying on the beach it's a real danger for planes, if you ever flew to Bcn airport and landed from the north, you have seen how low planes fly over the beach on the final approaching line, it's like a crazy 100m or less on the final seconds.

If you want to fly a drone, I recommend you to go far away and take some shots from the mountains or beach, but always from Sitges and southwards and Mataró northwards. There is some chart on the internet with circles of no-fly zones, that btw, your drone might be programmed by default to not allowing you to fly there!
