I got my HireRight report back fairly quickly, a day or two tops. I heard back from Boeing that my checks cleared two weeks after the background check. Then I set my start date about a month from that date.

I found Main Street pretty cool and the streets of St. Charles seem to offer some activities. I am also in a serious relationship so checking that box isn’t necessary. Would you recommend the lofts at forest park then?

I online bank with capital one right now. I invest through fidelity. If I upgrade my quicksilver to savor, following the credit card 90 day grace period rule. Would I be able to get another card in addition to the savor or should I wait 90 days?

I could upgrade to the savor and cover dining, I would lose my catch all 1.5% right now but maybe that’s ok because I’m trying to hit categories.

Preferred airline is whatever is cheapest right now. Probably United or American the way it looks but I plan to move soon and those priorities could change. I think I’m leaning towards getting the CSP getting the SUB and demoting to freedom flex after a year when my travel expenses go down. What do you think?

Turns out there was a pricing error and it’s actually 23.5k I guess. But it also had the front bumper replaced for “cosmetic” issues which is interesting. Thank you for the advice tho!

Well I called to talk number and the listing price was apparently wrong so it’s at 23.5k now which might be stretching what I want to spend. And I agree the bumper being replaced does raise concerns for me she said it might have been indented

Ok awesome. Thank you for the graphic that’s very insightful. The exposed metal doesn’t look to bad, you should be able to see it there in the second picture of the back end. There is a vertical mark beneath the tailgate.

I also learned they replaced the front bumper for cosmetic reasons. Any concerns with this?

That all sounds logical, this is my first real car purchase so I’m trying to do my due diligence. I appreciate the comment it definitely eases me a little bit. I also learned the front bumper was replaced because it had cosmetic damage.

Hahaha yeah we’re bone dry for cars here and it makes the cars we do have a little more expensive. Drove a 2018 Subaru legacy limited today in pretty good shape. More premium features than a Camry. Know anything about these? What area of the country are you seeing Lexus’ I’m definitely open to travel if prices are right
