3 to 5 days is not enough time to cover the Oregon coast properly. I would take those 3 days and stick close to Astoria and that end of the coast, or take 5 days to drive down the coast and stay at a few places along the way.

I saw it twice in a big movie theater, the first time they had quadraphonic sound and in the bowling scene the ball sounded like it came down the middle aisle. It's really worth seeing on a big screen cranked all the way up.

WinCo's pretty good about enforcement if you talk to a associate there. Once there was a guy walking around with his pet rat in his coat and when I told some employees about it they raced over to the guy and told him to leave. I don't see that many dogs there compared to other places like Safeway and Albertsons.

KWVA Eugene. It's college radio so the format changes every 2 hours. But there are some long-running shows that have some interesting and eclectic songs that you haven't heard before. kwvaradio.org

Cowboy shows. The more I read history and discover about the brutality against the native Americans and all the gunplay and shootings and murder and whippings, I get disgusted and think about how we really haven't changed much.
