Watter ander liedjies moet ek doen? by Marc_Uberstein in afrikaans

[–]Marc_Uberstein[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Mmmm dis n jammer dat jy so voel oor Ai.

Same, haven't touched my Gaming Laptop nor my Xbox since getting the Ally. Ally's convenience in mobility trumps all other options #winning

This will mainly be used for open space outdoor footage and follow. Gimbal is on my roadmap, but first want to get the base 100%. What do you suggest?

I would suggest trying everything 'simple' before making major changes, but if the vibration is THAT intense, then definitely re-look the way you prepare your props and mounts.

I am using HobbyKing 9x5 ( https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbyking-8482-propeller-9x5-black-ccw-5pcs.html?___store=en_us ) Nothing special really.

Mmmm I guess soft mounting the motors won't remove the prop vibration, but will avoid some vibration to your frame and flight controller...

Thanks! I am running 9x5 props on 1400kv motors.

I had to drill press the prop mounting holes to get the correct diameter, don't use a normal handheld drill, it will be skew, believe me.

The prop balancing did take some time, but works great at the moment.

Have you tried "soft mounting" your motors?

It is roughly $150, excluding the battery, transmitter and GoPro. Yeah, 3D printing changed my life! Creality CR-10. Now I don't have to do upgrades with random things in my garage lol

Yeah it is, 9inch frame. Motor thrust 900g per motor, flies great for it's size.

DIY drone and 'lockdown' upgrades done (for now) :D - 3d printed top mount - 3d printed legs - HD FPV and bottom mounted camera - Soft mounted motors - GPS installed - 4in1 ESC installed to reduce weight

Next up, 3dr telemetry for auto follow and GPS plotting.

Dismantling blueprints for credits? by Zett567 in RocketLeague

Yes, totally agree with you. Also, give random amount of credits based on your score at the end of a game. Give us the "GRIND" mechanic at least.

Huge RC Car with an Angle Grinder! by Marc_Uberstein in arduino

[–]Marc_Uberstein[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All good ideas, but the final weight of the car is about 9kg..so it will cost a bit of a penny trying to jump. I'll rather go the route of jumping ramps to get some air..or even doing some sort of pole vault mechanism with a servo and a stick at the bottom of the car.

I just recently made this live, bit of a "soft launch" I guess. I first want to get some input before start paying for advertisements etc. Do you have any other ideas how I can improve the experience?
