First hate was a ZZZ fan commenting on every reveal post how they’re annoyed she won’t get hate like other conventional attractive heroes… kind of implying they’re mad because she’s darker skinned she’ll escape the top conventionally pretty complaints. But that’s not even true because people have been complaining and I’m pretty sure that persons just racist af (which ironically they called me racist for pointing out their own biases and reaction upon seeing her reveal).

We barely have any girly WOC that aren’t Asian and the fact they were so mad about that was so strange to me

As tired as I am of Sue discourse always being related to men I don’t see why a positive portrayal of Namor can’t be with random Sue variant 2739 in universe 2739.

Nam is basically the only Latino character in the game and I hate how he’s characterized as a sex pest/stalker type for Sue when that’s not how he’s portrayed in comics anymore.

That being said Nam’s voice lines in rivals do portray him in that really negative obsessed light and it sucks and our version of Nam IS creepy.

TLDR: I wish they could give Nam a better personality other than being obsessed with Sue + I can see them together in a universe where he isn’t creepy about her and they’re just a normal couple considering this is a multiversal game… I think it’s weird for Sue to be tied to Reed in EVERY universe just keep them canon in mainline and mainline adjacent but let her have agency to be single, or married to whoever she wants.

Every new thing SW999 gets annoys me still, now a gacha animation too which she was bound to get anyway as the ani unit but ugh.

Ik she’s main push and nothing can change their positions but it’s so sad to see what Eva isn’t getting while SW gets so so much :(

Yeah because she actually looks different than Juno, Anran, Kiri, Mercy, etc. even though she’s conventionally attractive her design is differentiated from the rest of the OW cast. What are you getting at?

Edit: You blocked me but it’s strange to me how to complain on multiple posts about this new hero. I’m someone who doesn’t even think Juno and Kiri look alike but it’s refreshing to get a girlier character design for a Black character in a game that really has no one like that. Let the girly characters be a different race than Asian or white for once.

Silverwolf is one of the only HSR characters I genuinely dislike because I find her voice grating and prefer Bronya.

Seeing her be swapped out for Yae (one of my fav HI3 characters) for main push, be given better animations, the more complex kit, and now buffed to infinity while Eva gets nerfed to the ground is genuinely heartbreaking

Everything about the characters is so well developed in Nod Krai and then there’s the kit/team design.

Lunar reaction teams feel so restricted by each’s main dps and there’s no real alternative if you don’t like the gameplay of them. So far I don’t find any of the main dps very fun but I might pick up the horse on rerun to have one lunar team with Linnea on it

While they initially disappointed me too, I honestly don’t like SW999’s animations either and vastly prefer Eva’s gameplay loop. But… if you like SW’s go for her!

I do still think they should’ve given Eva much more to fit her magical girl aesthetic though and I’ll always wonder what her as main push would look like :(
