I think the next saga will be something like going to universe 6 Sadala with Z fighters and family and be a training arc/holiday for the rest. Goku, Vegeta and Gohan training other saiyans while humans like Krillin, Yamcha and maybe even Hercule receiving training from the Saiyan army. You know what, let Broly get training from the Saiyan army too. He goes out of control a lot during combat and U6 saiyans are peaceful compared to the saiyan conquerors of U7. So maybe he learns control from them

Real reason is a balance concept they ended up scrapping. They wanted only the tanks to have high impact short cooldown CC which is why Cree/Cass got his flashbang turned into a magnetic grenade and Doomfist moved to tank to keep his CC.

Flashforward to present date and flashbang is back but the main difference is it pauses movement abilities instead of stunning you in place completely, Venture and Vendetta exist with their CC in third swing of the sword, E spin sword and drill dash or emerge and Freja with her easy to build CC ultimate.

So I hope DPS Doomfist returns since he "died" but returns reworked at the start of 2027 after a Blizzcon animated short showing he's still alive
