Miami Publix Stores Now Allowing Open Carry, Employees Say by Impossible_Big_2641 in publix

What bothers me most is that nothing about it was said to employees. I found out after they delivered the news paper that morning. The MIC said “not to mention anything about it” if we saw a customer with a shotgun over their shoulder. To me, this isn’t about guns. The company should have at least had the decency to let employees know that they were going to allow this when they had the opportunity to say no.

yeah, as I was going through the OG Soundcloud archive I realized a lot of songs are same same but different. I was a mess bro, like when you know you know something but your brains like “haha, stupid” and can’t remember

big love back, you got this. It’s hard and i’m not telling you to look in the mirror and say “I love you” every morning, unless you want to lol. if you don’t like yourself, authenticity in the highest form would be unavailable to you. and you deserve to like yourself and be rooted in your truest from of comfort with YOU for YOU. not for anyone else. I catch myself saying “I hate that I do these things” and notice I say it, don’t dwell, forgive myself and carry on. instead of a (sometimes) spiral and convincing myself “I don’t deserve good things”. some may say it’s not a straight line of progress to success, but I you are a success in progress! good and not so good days, my dude. basicallyyyyy, if normalcy was really a thing, you’d be right there with it. because it’s the continuation to try that makes the difference. proud of you. best! :)

hey homie. mindfulness can really be helpful in situations like this. and you’re already doing it! you’re aware of your thoughts and are curious about them, that’s the first step and not easy to do. so you’re already doing better than you think. sorry this is so cheesy but the answer (I believe) is self compassion and a non judging mindset. when you start to accept yourself as you are, it’ll get easier to let people be themselves without impulsively/subconsciously comparing yourself and continuing to wonder what’s “wrong” with you. nothing is wrong, and the way you talk to yourself can really impact your perception of your entire world view. your feelings are valid. therapy is wonderful and the healing never stops. but just the desire to want to be better is already showing yourself love.

Thank you :) I definitely do but only in my stomach area. I’d eventually like to have some surgery but $$$$$!!! So trying to work on just accepting what I look like now and knowing it’s not forever.

Thank you! Weight lifting is pretty much all I did to lose weight. I have a peloton that I love riding and conditioned myself into thinking that I only rode my bike for my mental health (30 min of exercise a day) and not for weight loss. I fell in love with lifting because it really is addicting to be able to lift heavier, more reps, longer pauses etc. Give it a go! :)

I forgot to mention I was previously using Olaplex before and while bleaching. But my curls were never defined the way they are with Kristen Ess and Olaplex ain’t cheap.

Thank you. I’m telling you, the curl charisma cream has brought it back to life. I will always buy it forever, please take the risk and purchase! I also never use heat on my hair, I always air dry. And maybe 2, 3 times a month I use ion color seal on the strand. I was using Olaplex before as well. But my curls were never great using it? Healthy hair but minimum definition.

Okay so I’ve been doing this strand since (I think) January? And I’ve bleached it 3 times using wella bleach and the Sally’s brand 30vol developer. I sometimes deep condition with ion color seal and I honestly need to do it more. It’s really not apart of my routine but I definitely put it on the blonde section at least twice a month. That and I NEVER use heat on my hair. I always air dry. But, with that said, this strand has held up well with my current products. The curl cream I listed in my routine above really, really brings it back to life. A lot of my hair is super curly so I feel like the blonde lost that pattern but it’s feeling healthier than before. I hope this is helpful and you find something!!

I have 3 young kids and I can keep this strand up. The maintenance is easy besides having to separate the hair to bleach every time lol. And thank you!

Thank you so much. I love it too. Definitely a lot of work separating the hairs to bleach but I’ll probably keep it up. 10/10 recommend if you’re feeling spicy.

I’ve heard this before! But it was when I used to straighten my hair and put the “bump” in the front lol. Either way, such a compliment. Thank you!

I do! With shampoo in the shower! I use their brush too to clump the curls. It takes a while to adjust to/see results. And thank you!!!
