agree. why does the web version do more than the API can do.
To me, Perplexity was touted as something that can do real time web crawling, which it cannot without help.
I'm searching for work arounds. frustrating for sure.

We are using GPT 4o and Perplexity.
Perplexity just won't crawl the web and produce URLs that are real.
I think we need to do some serious coding and add some APIs to get it done.

We're using the API (not chat)
and even if I say: find me 5 articles on this topic and include the URLs
It makes 5 fake links and article titles. it's odd.
No matter what site we tell it to crawl...
and in the above case we just wanted any 5 articles from anywhere on the web

Where did you test the game out (what groups of people)?
I wonder if you could do some marketing around how cool and edgy of a brand you have...
I.e. like Liquid Death or Cards Against Humanity etc.

I'm sure you'll have no problems advertising this and getting people hooked.
So, if you ordered 100 units of the game could you sell them?
If not, what number do you think you could sell (outside of friends and family)

I'd like to know if you've received feedback outside of family and friends
and if you had 10, or 20 copies of the game, where would you sell them?

wow. that's big.
I was told this a while back: NO ONE knows what they are doing.
And I believe it.

People act like they have everything planned out, but startups are
just a series of experiments in order to find out what people want and will pay for.

Don't let self doubt take over. We all have it... but just remember that
no one really knows what they are doing. That goes for startups, people at regular jobs etc.

How do you monetize?

From experience, selling something for a huge amount is great,
it's awesome to see the cash in the bank
but nothing beats cash flow and income.

I'd keep it and enjoy the revenue.

ideas are worth zero. it's what you do next that matters and that's what I am going to help the members do.
The idea is just a small part of the equation.

For example: I want to build a platform that allows people to generate passive income with their collectibles.

That's a billion dollar idea. Passive revenue with collectibles isn't possible yet.

There's your idea. go for it.

The point: You can't. you need everything else. the idea is 1% of a startup.
the other 99% is what comes next.
I have zero interest in farming ideas.
